It began at “Best In The World 2011” when, during the free preview show, Nick & Matt Jackson made their return to Ring of Honor in a bout against Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly. The four men put on an absolutely amazing display of athleticism and cutting edge tag team wrestling, but the bout was cut short by the interference of Lancelot & Harlem Bravado. The Bravados paid for their interference but both teams were left unfulfilled…

IT’S HAPPENING @RING OF HONOR’S “SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST 2011″

The entrants for “Survival of the Fittest 2011” have been set and ROH officials have also promised two non-tournament matches to go down on November 18th when we return to Dayton, OH & The Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Well the first of those matches has been set, and it’s a big one as all four ROH Champions will collide in one huge tag team battle!

RING OF HONOR ANNOUNCES SPECIAL TWO-DAY TRYOUT CAMP

For the first time ever, Ring of Honor will be holding a special two-day tryout camp and seminar on Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th at ROH’s headquarters and wrestling academy in suburban Philadelphia. This camp will provide those who attend the rare opportunity to be seen and evaluated by officials and pro wrestlers from Ring of Honor. The seminar will be organized by ROH’s top officials as well as Jim Cornette.

Survival of the Fittest” is a tournament that was born in Essington, PA on June 24, 2004 when Mark Briscoe, Alex Shelley, Colt Cabana, Trent Acid, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, John Walters, Josh Daniels, Homicide, Jay Briscoe, Bryan Danielson, Jack Evans, Samoa Joe, and Matt Stryker battled it out in qualifying matches over the 6 slots in the elimination finals. Mark Briscoe, Cabana, Aries, Homicide, Danielson, and Joe were the men who advanced with Danielson & Aries standing as the last two men battling over a future title shot. Their 20-minute fight, won by Danielson, ultimately accomplished two things: Danielson earned himself a title opportunity and Aries began to establish himself in the top tier of ROH talent…

Ring of Honor officials are excited to announce our return to North Carolina and our first live event in the state of South Carolina. On Saturday, December 3rd will debut at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium (385 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303) with a 7:30 PM belltime. On Sunday, December 4th we will present a special matinee event at the Greensboro Coliseum (1921 W. Lee Street, Greensboro, NC 27403) with a 4:00 pm belltime.
