I didn’t know Lance Cade very well but the few times I did meet him he impressed me as a guy who really wanted to succeed in the wrestling business.
The first time I saw Lance was when I was on assignment for WOW MAGAZINE doing a photo shoot and story on the Shawn Michaels’ Wrestling Academy. I remember how focused Michaels was on Cade seemingly more-so than other students, at least while I was there. Michaels noted that he felt this guy would go on to become a star in the business if he kept learning at the pace he… Read more.

Editor’s Note — The opinions expressed by Sal Lasardo Jr. are those of his own and do not reflect the opinion of anyone on the staff at 1Wrestling.Com.
This is Sal LaSardo, and welcome to tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. We are six days away from the biggest event of the summer in the form of Summer Slam. The WWE has their version of grand slams as in all other major sporting events, and this Sunday will be the 3rd of the 4th grand slams, major wrestling events per say. The Raw Recap
The final pieces of Raw’s portion of Summerslam fell into place, or did they? Bret Hart joined up with John Cena to battle Chris Jericho and Edge. Also, Evan Bourne hit one of the most incredible moves that I’ve seen, in years.
Roll the opening montage.
Raw was just over the hill from me in Sacramento, CA. Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole ran down the night’s main event.
Bret Hart came out to address the crowd. He traded pink and black for Batman black, gray and gold. The arena was still bathed in bright pink light. Bret talked about training hard… Read more.
