Harley Race Wrestling Academy opens new location in Troy, MO
The premier wrestling academy in the United States has opened a new location just outside of St. Louis, MO. The Harley Race Wrestling Academy has opened its training academy in Troy, Missouri inside of a building that is over 7,000 square feet. Close to St. Louis, the new Academy location is closer to the big city in which the owner, 8-Time NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, became a household name in professional wrestling.
The new academy offers training that is very rigorous training that is second to none. Training classes happen every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, training consists of a new initiative that improves the overall athleticism of our wrestlers. This new training class improves the strength, functionality, and overall well-being of our athletes that train here with the inclusion of sledgehammers, oversized tires, TRX suspension training, and other techniques that improve the conditioning of students that attend the Harley Race Wrestling Academy.
Included at the Academy are 2-full-sized bathrooms (male and female) with showers and lockers, washer/dryer, kitchen area for cooking meals before/after training, access to the WWE Network, WIFI, 2 full-sized rings, cardiovascular training area, and the huge amount of memorabilia from the legendary career of Harley Race.
Our academy has produced athletes that have went on to compete with WWE as well as travelling overseas to participate in matches with our sister company – Pro-Wrestling NOAH. Wrestlers include Trevor Murdock (WWE Tag Team Champion – 3x), Ted DiBiase Jr. (WWE Tag Team Champion), Curtis Axel (WWE Intercontinental Champion), John Cone (WWE Referee), Ryan Tran (WWE Referee), Brandon Traven (NXT Star), Simon Gotch (NXT Star), Keith Walker (Pro-Wrestling NOAH Tag Team Champion), Ace Steel (WWE developmental star and Pro-Wrestling NOAH wrestler), and countless others that have came through our academy to move on in the wrestling world.
