    Thanks, Bill, for your tribute to Buddy Roberts. I remember watching WCCW during the feud between the Freebirds and the Von Erichs. Every week another chapter was written and the storyline never became stale. I agree with you that the combination of Michael “P.S.” Hayes, Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy and Buddy Roberts were the perfect collection of heels that could take on the “Golden Boy” Von Erichs or any team they would face over the years. Somewhere in the world, I’m sure the Freebirds are still the 6-Man Tag Team Champions. Buddy was a huge part of that success and I thank him for being part of those memories. My condolences to his family and friends. He will truly be missed by true “old school” wrestling fans.
