NWA ANARCHY Cornelia, GA 6-25-11 FINALS

SHAUN TEMPERS VS ACE ROCKWELL

CAREERS COME FULL CIRCLE IN NORTH AMERICAN TOURNAMENT FINAL.

By James Olsen

On June 25th 2011 at the NWA Arena in Cornelia, GA a new NWA North American Heavyweight Wrestling Champion will be crowned as NWA Southern Champion “The Seven Figure Deal” Ace Rockwell meets “The Temptation” Shaun Tempers in the finals of an 8 man tournament that included some of the top athletes in the NWA and took place over 3 states for 5 different NWA affiliates. The tournament was forced by the National Wrestling Alliance after the previous champion The Shiek defeated Adam Pearce to become NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Rockwell bested Chrisjen Hayme in Nashville, TN in round 1, and Kyle Matthews in round 2 Cornelia, GA. Tempers defeated Caprice Coleman in Cornelia, GA in round 1 and Corey Hollis in Chattanooga, TN in round 2. As fate would have, and as long time NWA fans know, these two men are no strangers to one another.

Ace Rockwell & Shaun Tempers started their professional wrestling careers at the exact same time, in the year 2001, under the tutelage of long time pro Greg “Big Wood” Hullander. Their story together goes back even further than that. Rockwell and Tempers became best friends while attending Soddy Daisy High School out of Soddy Daisy, TN (A suburb of Chattanooga) in the late 90′s. Tempers, originally from Chicago, IL came to Tennessee via his father (Philadelphia Phillies farm coach and former minor league baseball great Sal Rende) who had great success as a player and later on as a coach for the Chattanooga Lookouts minor league franchise. Rockwell, who came from an upper middle class family, was born and raised in the Chattanooga area. The two kids with big dreams bonded on a variety of topics, and both had athletic ability, dabbling in school and youth sports, but their real passion was professional wrestling. This lead the two mischevious youths to try and and every way possible to break into the sport of professional wrestling yielding little results until their mutual friend Dan Wilson (former NWA Wildside announcer and current NWA manager) introduced the duo to Hullander who agreed to let them enroll in “The Big Wood’s School of Hard Knocks”. After months of hard work and completing the rigors of professional training, Ace Rockwell and Shaun Tempers entered the professional ranks as a tag team known as Pomp & Circumstance. Hullander had this to say of his students. “Rockwell and Tempers are two world class athletes with a passion for the wrestling business and talent that can’t be touched by 98 % of the wrestlers in the world. They are born naturals with wrestling in their blood.” The two childhood friends had accomplished a major life goal. They’d had a professional wrestling match. Little did they know this was only the beginning of their story.

Pomp & Circumstance (with early manager Aaron Voight) achieved almost instant success in many smaller promotions throughout Georgia and Tennessee, and got their first real break in front of a larger audience at Phil Heffner’s NAWA Ring Champions promotion out of Rome, GA where they got the opportunity to face opponents of a calibur unlike anything they’d seen thus far. Tank, Iceberg, The late Big Boss Man, “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, Ricky Morton, Kory Chavis, Murder One, Ray Gordy and tag teams like Jay Fury & Justin Ramey and Hardcore Productions just to name a few, were some of the competitors they were tested against and Rockwell & Tempers began to make a name for themselves. They were a cocky young duo, with a variety of flashy offensive tag team moves, but the secret to their continuing success was their team work. This is when the two were offered an opportunity in the National Wrestling Alliance via the NWA Wildside promotion. (It should also be noted that this is when the team parted ways with Voight who was an instrumental part of their early development as a tag team).

Though the NAWA proved to be an excellent proving ground, Wildside brought an even tougher level of competition as the hungriest young wrestlers from all over the country came to Georgia to appear on the nationally syndicated NWA Wildside TV Program, which by that point had gained a cult following around the country. For the 1st time in their careers P&C found themselves fighting for survival. It took them a long time to score their first big Wildside win and then after many savage battles earned their toughness stripes in a brutal feud with Tank & Iceberg that saw the two “pretty boys” shed buckets of blood and ultimately defeat the two behemoth’s in controversial fashion for the coveted NWA Wildside (Georgia) Tag Team Titles. They also later joined the ” Al Getz Enterprises” stable who waged war against Jeff G. Bailey’s “NWA Elite”. Through their exposure in NWA Wildside P&C received opportunities in wrestling promotions around the country, and during this time spent countless hours on the road together traveling from state to state. Though these travels helped them establish an even stronger reputation as a team to be reckoned with, they always remained loyal to the southeastern region. On April 30th, 2005 NWA Wildside closed it’s doors and went out with a bang. On the eve of it’s demise NWA Wildside presented it’s final blowout, an event called ” Last Rites” , and Pomp & Circumstance found themselves in the main event, managed by Al Getz teaming with former Wildside Champion “The Ticking Time Bomb” Scotty Wrenn in a 3 team War Games match taking on Bailey’s “Elite Team” of Jeremy Vain, Mikael Judas and Murder One and the team of “The Original Gangsta” New Jack, Tank & Iceberg. Though Tempers & Rockwell went down in defeat that night, they shared the honor of the final Wildside match and earned more respect from the fans than ever due to the vicious amount of punishment they both recieved and dished out in that bout.

With NWA Wildside now a memory, it’s successor promotion NWA Anarchy (owned by local fire chief turned promoter Jerry Palmer) reopened wrestling in the historic NWA Arena later in 2005. When Pomp & Circumstance returned to what they’d now staked as their home turf they were met with an unfamiliar response…cheers. Though they’d done whatever it took to get there, they were on top of the tag team perch and the fans admired that these two guys who looked like a couple “pretty boy jocks”, could lay it all on the line in the ring. It was on December 30th 2005 that Tempers and Rockwell defeated 3 other teams to become the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Champions but the reign would only last one week as they lost the titles to the team of Jeremy Vain and Jason Blackman on January 7th, 2006. This would be the last match where Rockwell & Tempers teamed together for quite some time, as their bond unbeknownst to Rockwell had been injected with a fatal poison. While P&C had been climbing the Anarchy tag title ladder, the heinous “Devil’s Rejects” stable had taken NWA Anarchy by storm and violent force. This was a stable of the most dangerous men in the history of the NWA Arena, “The Son of Satan” Azrael, “The Strong Style Psycho” Tank, and “The No Pain Train” Iceberg…..all masterminded by former Wildside host turned maniacal manager “The Reverend” Dan Wilson who were disgruntled with the establishment and even once threatened to ignite the “Church of Southern Wrestling” with the audience locked inside. Given the history between Wilson, Rockwell & Tempers was fairly well known, the curtain was finally pulled on the “elephant in the room” when following the tag title loss, Wilson appeared offering them redemption by abandoning their new found admiration and serving The Devil’s Rejects. Rockwell refused the offer and Tempers accepted in front of the public as a mock human sacrifice was made out of Ace Rockwell in a horrific display of blood lust while his former best friend embraced The Rev and laughed at Rockwell’s misfortune. Unbeknownst to Ace Rockwell, Tempers had made his “deal with the devil” long before.

Earning the nickname “The Sleeper Cell”, Shaun Tempers later revealed he’d accepted the Rev’s offer when the Devil’s Rejects were nothing more than a devious plot, disguising himself in broad daylight the entire time and waiting like a cobra for the time to strike. He’d made it clear he was tired of being in Ace Rockwell’s shadow and as the demonic prophecy fortold Tempers achieved great success as a singles wrestler, but it cost him his best friend and a few gallons of blood he’ll never get back. The Ace Rockwell vs. Shaun Tempers feud of 2006 was at the heart of an even greater conflict, The Devil’s Rejects vs. NWA Anarchy. Tempers with the Rejects did as many vile things to Rockwell as possible, including breaking his arm with a clam hammer. This is where we 1st saw Ace Rockwell rise to the occasion to an amazing level befitting the Champion he is today. After waging war for 6 months, Rockwell carrying the entire promotion on his back (literally, if The Rejects won the match, they gained control of NWA Anarchy) on July 22nd 2006 was the man who gained the winning fall of the War Games match, making Shaun Tempers submit by sticking the same claw hammer that broke his arm in Tempers’ mouth. This was the end of the first chapter of Rockwell vs. Tempers, but it certainly wouldn’t be the last. Word began to spread of the passionate and amazing wars these two waged against each other in Georgia and it wasn’t long before promoters across the country were again demanding this duo yet again, but this time as opponents. Just going by the sheer volume of promoters who’ve booked this bout, it’s clear that Rockwell vs. Tempers has gained a reputation as a must see fight. It wasn’t until 20089 that the fans who watched them on television saw the Tempers/Rockwell rivalry renewed in Anarchy once more after a brief REUNION??!!

By all appearances Tempers, after 3 years as a singles competitor, had a falling out with The Rev and The Rejects. Given his reputation as a snake, Tempers worked extremely hard to prove himself and even convinced Rockwell to “put the band back together” for a short lived Pomp & Circumstance reunion tour . This unfolded as one of the most deep rooted and evil intended conspiracies in NWA Anarchy history and the end result was simply to lull Television Champion Truitt Fields into a false sense of security and after months of convincing him he’d finally seen the light, Shaun Tempers plunged the proverbial dagger into Field’s heart and became NWA Anarchy TV Champion for the 1st time. Rockwell didn’t appreciate being used as a pawn in his “old buddy”‘s scheme, and the momumental rivalry was back on in NWA Anarchy and dominated the cards for almost the entire year, culminating in a Last Man Standing match, where Tempers came out the victor thanks to Wilson’s chicanery.

In March of 2010 the egos involved became too much and the once mighty Devil’s Rejects finally crumbled when Tank defeated Tempers in the Compound Death match in March 2010 which signified the end of the Rejects reign of terror. Tempers and Wilson agreed to a mutual parting of ways, with the agreement that they’d help each other out as needed. Tempers had done his time as a general in The Reject Army, but certainly wasn’t enjoying the fame and notoriety that came with success any less. Now he was no longer the faithful warrior but the visionary of his own landscape, and with that came a re-branding. “The Temptation” evolved into a total package of looks, charisma, ability and tenacity with the meanest of mean streaks and a brain for business. In addition to being a 3 time NWA Anarchy Tag Team Champion, 2 Time Ultimate NWA Tag Champion, and 2 Time NWA TV Champion, Tempers is also an entrepreneur. You can purchase his own signature “fragrance” the body spray “Temptation For Men” at www.thetemptation.net . Tempers excels in techincal and power wrestling, and adapts well to any style of opponent. He wrestles as much with his brain as he does with his brawn and there is no shortcut he won’t take to win. His deadliest offensive weapon is his Hangman’s Neckbreaker that he can hit seemingly from out of no where.

Ace Rockwell has already gained a great deal of singles success. He’s the current NWA Southern Champion, he’s been NWA Anarchy Heavyweight, TV and Tag Team Champion, and has held several other championships in several other territories. He also recently appeared on an episode of the Lifetime Original Series “Coming Home” where Rockwell surpised a U.S. Soldier returning stateside with one of his favorite things, in this case….wrestling. Rockwell continues to pursue opportunities in TV & Film, but nothing will keep him away from his 1st love. He wrestles a very unorthodox style for a fan favorite, and is never above stooping down to a rulebreaker’s level as long as he’s returning a favor. He can absorb an amazing amount of punishment and keep going, and he continues to learn new techniques and training methods. He feels he’ll never stop learning, and Rockwell keeps a rigorous training schedule both in the gym and in the ring. He finishes opponents with the “Ace’s High” (his version of the Diamond Cutter), which like Tempers’ neckbreaker, can also be hit from almost any position.

So on June 25th 2011, one of the most storied NWA rivalries of the last decade comes full circle. To the arena where they made their names, against the opponents they made them against….each other. Ace Rockwell vs. Shaun Tempers…one more time. This time, as far as the oldest and largest sanctioning body in wrestling is concerned, it’s for the 2nd most important wrestling championship in the entire world. Their record against each other is almost 50/50 in over 100 contests. On June 25th at the NWA Arena in Cornelia, GA, for the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship…..it’s anybody’s match.

Nashville, Tenn (April 18, 2011) – TNA (Total Non-Stop Action) star A.J. Styles and Black River Entertainment’s Sarah Darling recently made waves in the wrestling news world when “Something To Do With Your Hands” bolted to #1 on CMT. With over 200,000 views, wrestling fans, undoubtedly played a major hand in taking the video to the top of the chart. But Styles and Darling still need your help in making the video No. 1 on GAC and CMT. By taking the video to #1 on both networks, Styles would become the first pro-wrestler in history to take a country music video to the top of both major network charts.

“We would like to thank everyone who has voted for ‘Something To Do With Your Hands’ on CMT.com and GACTV.com but would like to encourage everyone to keep voting to get us to the No. 1 position on both networks!” says Darling. “That would be truly amazing! Thanks for all your help!”

NWA Pro/ EWF
AMERICAN SPORTS UNIVERSITY
JUNE 4, 2011
San Bernardino, CA

By Brandi Mendez
EWF Correspondent

Hey Hey sports fans! The one and only Brandi Mendez coming at you with this past weekend’s Empire Wrestling Federation results from our non-stop and action packed night of wrestling at the School of Hard Knocks’ home, the American Sports University in San Bernardino.

Match #1: Mercurio DEF. Stryder

Fun and games were at work, as Olympia’s own Mercurio played with the EWF rookie Stryder. Though the dark, flamboyant wrestler put up his best efforts, it was Stryder’s masked adversary who gained the victory with his thunder shock, and the three count.

Match #2: Little Friar DEF Maddix

Looks were quite deceiving, as the little friar took on his monstrous opponent in an intense “David vs. Goliath” type battle. Though Maddix thought his size would defeat his competitor, it was his ego that enabled him to lose his grip in the ring and be defeated by his tiny opponent.

Match #3: Mighty Mike Mountain DEF Transformer Boy

Mountain showed no mercy to the EWF rookie Transformer Boy as he left him in a pile of rubble after a devastating power bomb to capture the pin.

Match #4: “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger DEF Valiant

Jaeger took on Spain’s favorite son in a high-flying, intense match that left both competitors spent. But, it was Jaeger’s experience and clever offensive mind games that did the trick against the EWF newcomer, allowing him to put another victory on his “top shelf.”

Match #5: “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar w/Bonnie Isle DEF “The Rattle from Seattle” Eddie Mattson

One half of the loved Bar Room Saints, Dunbar, accompanied by the beautiful Bonnie Isle defeated Mattson with an incredible power and intensity that left the rattler slithering out of the ring and out of the way of his brawling opponent.

Match #6: “Handsome” Johnny Starr, “Iron Man” Mike Maze & The Mexican Warrior DEF. Izzy Wise, Ray Rosas & Flecha Fugaz in a six-man tag team match

Aggression was at an all time high between the six rivals, but it was the team headed up by the new EWF Champion, “Handsome” Johnny Starr and new EWF American Champion, “Iron Man” Mike Maze that cleaned house and won the match, with the EWF fans going crazy.

There you have it ladies and gents, another night of intense action that will soon not be forgotten. Be sure to check us out at our home arena in Covina, at the Knights of Columbus this Friday, June 10 for more EWF action. Until then, I Brandi Mendez am signing off, see you inside the ropes!

Titles change hands as NWA Houston goes to war with NWA Top Rope in Cypress

By: Phillip Barnard, Houston Pro Wrestling Examiner

NWA Top Rope invaded Cypress, Texas this past Friday night for a showdown with NWA Houston. It was a very interesting evening, as it was headlined by two Champion vs. Champion matches. NWA Top Rope, led by Mike Sircy from the NWA Board of Directors, is based out of Tennessee.

NWA Showdown: Texas vs. Tennessee opened up with their version of “interleague play,” as Hammerjack (from NWA Top Rope) squared off with NWA Houston’s own Hambone. After a brief verbal exchange between the two, both big men went back and forth throughout the match. The Cypress crowd was firmly behind Hambone, as he surprised Hammerjack with a small package rollup and picked up a big win to start the night. It was a good win for one of the younger talents on the NWA Houston roster.

There had to be some sort of appearance by the Pyscho Circus, and there was certainly no disappointment there. “Mr. Showtime” Scot Summers led his crew of “Benchmark” Silky Baines, Jen-Alise and “One Man” Mike Dell to the ring to address the fans as well as NWA Houston President, Tugboat Taylor. Summers, the reigning NWA Houston Heavyweight Champion, told the fans that the Psycho Circus had dominated the Houston area all the way back to the WoW Texas days.

Summers went on to praise his opponent for the night, NWA Top Rope’s Arrick Andrews. Summers touted that Andrews was a great athlete and a great wrestler, but bragged that he was better and would prove it later in the night. He then mentioned that Circus members “One Man” Mike Dell and Ryan Genesis were slated to defend the NWA Houston Tag Team Titles against the fan favorite Crusaders (Pop’n & Lock), but said that Genesis was off making money on “official Psycho Circus business.” At this point, Dell took the mic and said he had been given the opportunity to choose his own parter for one night to help defend the titles, and that it would be somebody that NWA Houston fans would least expect.

Summers then turned his attention to the recent feud between NWA Houston Outlaw Champion SIlky Baines and the monstrous Jayukus Plisken. Summers looked down at Tugboat Taylor, who was at ringside, and asked him point blank how many times would Silky have to beat Plisken. Silky beat Plisken in May at “Shut Up & Wrestle,” to retain the Outlaw Title but was informed he would have to put Plisken down one more time in Cypress. Then Summers took his attention to the often-crazed Jen-Alise. She has been in middle of the NWA Houston Women’s Title picture for quite some time, and Summers noted that and told everybody that she should be the one facing Tasha Simone for the NWA World Women’s Title, and not Barbi Hayden.

Before Summers could say much more, Mike Sircy from the NWA Board of Directors stepped into the ring. He warned Summers about criticizing the fans, because they were the best in the world. Then he upended Summers altogether, by announcing that only the NWA Houston Championship would be on the line as he faced NWA Tennessee Champion Arrick Andrews in the main event. An enraged Summers retreated to the back with his crew, having words with Sircy and Tugboat on his way to the back.

After that exchange, fans were ready for some inter-league tag team action, as Chaz Taylor and “Backdraft” Chris Lee defended hometown pride against two very large individuals collectively known as The Asylum (Pappy and Psycho). They came to the ring wearing straight jackets, and were being herded to the ring by Mike Sircy. Throughout the match, The Asylum held their own very well. They kept Chaz and Lee from tagging while making their own tags to keep the fresher man in. However their size advantage wasn’t enough, as a top rope elbow drop from Chaz claimed victory for NWA Houston.

The third match on the card featured former championship partners at war, as Ken Carson teed off on former Impeccable partner Joey Diamond. These two have held numerous tag team titles throughout Texas, as well as multi-time NWA Houston AND NWA Texas Tag Team Champions. After dropping the belts last month to Mike Dell and Ryan Genesis, Carson snapped and turned on his former friend. It led to a physical confrontation on Friday night as Carson used tactic including attempting to use a steel chair, which resulted in the referee taking it away from him before he could use it on Diamond. After hitting a Stunner on Diamond, Carson thought he had things well in hand. However his arrogance in the ring cost him, as Diamond scored with a boot to the face and a simple roll-up to pick up the win. After the match, Carson made a statement that will have a major consequence for July 8. Carson challenged Diamond to a rematch, stating that if he couldn’t beat him…he would LEAVE the organization! Diamond took a moment to take in what he just heard, and responded that if HE couldn’t beat Carson, then he would be the one to leave. So on July 8, Ken Carson will face Joey Diamond in a match where the loser must leave NWA Houston.

Up next was a highly anticipated matchup, as Psycho Circus member “Benchmark” Silky Baines defended the NWA Houston Outlaw Title against Jaykus Plisken. The bell no sooner had time to ring and these two were in the center of the ring trading punches. Once things settled down, Baines actually controlled the majority of the match. And when your opponent is Plisken, not too many people can make that statement and live to tell about it. Mike Dell made an appearance midway through the contest, but was quickly diverted by Hambone and chased to the back. The champion tried to take advantage of the situation, but made a costly error. He made his way to the top rope, and was met by Plisken. The challenger shocked the Cypress crowd by hoisting the larger champion onto his shoulders while standing on the turnbuckle, and then hitting a rolling fireman’s carry from the corner. The crowd stood and applauded while the impact of the move tossed the referee around the ring. Jaykus made the cover and walked away your new NWA Houston Outlaw Champion.

After a brief intermission, fans were treated to an exciting title match, as NWA Houston Jr. Heavyweight Champion Bolt Brady put the gold up against ACH. Both men are highly respected by the fans, and were ready for a great match between the two. Suprisingly enough, this match was mostly dominated by the challenger ACH. It seemed several times in the match that every time Brady tried to mount some kind of offense, ACH was there to shut it down. ACH would get a golden opportunity to lock in the Regal Stretch submission. Brady made every effort to escape, even risking potential injury to not give up the title. However the pain of the submission was too much to bear, and he was forced to submit. ACH is your new NWA Houston Jr. Heavyweight Champion. But celebration quickly turned to disaster, as recent rival Mr. B hit the ring and laid out both men. He then grabbed the mic and talked about the lack of respect he’s been shown and how he deserves a title shot. Mike Sircy cut him off, reprimanding him for his actions and tell him that he would indeed get that title shot. However he would have to wait until July 8 to get it.

The NWA Houston Tag Team Titles were on the line next, but first there was the matter of revealing who Mike Dell has chosen to fill in for Ryan Genesis for the night. That person turned out to be “The Name That Entertains” Jasper Davis. In recent months, Davis had turned himself around. Siding with the fans and getting a new sense of respect, Jasper had gotten himself back into the good graces of NWA Houston management. However that quickly went awry as he was revealed to be Dell’s partner in their match against The Crusaders (Pop’n & Lock). Dell and Davis made relatively short work of The Crusaders, as they looked like a team that had been tagging every night for a long time. However there was some shock that was yet to be seen. During the celebration, Dell got the mic and asked Davis how it felt to be on a winning team. His response was that it felt great, and then asked if Dell could relay a message to ringleader Scot Summers. Davis then stunned Dell with a straight right punch that put Dell on the mat. This brought out the rest of the Psycho Circus, who then proceeded to level Davis by hitting each of their finishers on him. The attack on Davis left him badly injured and as of now there is no update on his condition.

The final two matches featured Champion vs. Champion, as this match saw NWA World Women’s Champion Tasha Simone put her gold up for grabs against NWA Houston Women’s Champion Barbi Hayden. This was a great match between the two. Barbi held her own throughout the matchup and nearly pulled off a huge upset on a couple of occasions. At the 20 minute mark, Tasha pulled a signature piledriver out of her arsenal and spiked Barbi’s head into the mat. Three seconds later, Tasha had successfully retained the Women’s Championship. After the match, she continued the beatdown on Hayden. This brought Mike Sircy back out to inform Tasha that there would be a tournament in San Antonio featuring eight of the toughest women in Texas. The wiinner would receive a future shot at her gold. Much to her dislike, it was also announced that Barbi would be participating in the tournament.

And with that, Cypress was set for what could easily be considered Match Of The Year for any card in the state of Texas, let alone NWA Houston. NWA Houston Heavyweight Champion Scot Summers was set to defend his title against the NWA Tennessee Heavyweight Champion, Arrick Andrews. Summers’ title would be the only title up for grabs. This match didn’t take long to get out of control, as they started brawling from the opening bell. With the Psycho Circus at ringside cheering Summers on, the NWA Houston Champion managed to get into full control. He put Arrick on the mat with everything he knew to throw at him, including a vicious brainbuster that could’ve easily ended the match on impact. In what turned out to be a highly competitive and back-and-forth brawl between the two, the referee got a little too close to the action. While Summers and Andrews were trading punches, Andrews ducked a swing by Summers and the referee got knocked unconscious by a Summers punch. Andrews then hits a spinning heel kick that sent Summers to the mat. He made the cover, but there was no referee! Finally, a second referee came out to help out and take over for the original referee. Silky Baines and Mike Dell jumped onto the apron to cause a distraction, but Andrews shoved Summers into them and sent them crashing to the floor. Andrews rolled up Summers and the referee counted to three. Fans went crazy, as Andrews was declared the winner and NEW NWA Houston Champion. Then controversy struck. The original referee came to, and reversed the decision. He was disqualifying Summers for intentionally punching him in the face. So the official ruling is that Arrick Andrews wins by disqualification but Summers retains the NWA Houston Championship since titles can’t change hands on a DQ or countout.

Following the match, Summers bragged about being the smartest wrestler, and how he had stuck it to Tugboat and NWA Houston again. Then he took it a step further, and said he wanted to wrestle Tugboat. This brought the NWA Houston President into the ring. He said that while he would never WRESTLE Summers, he would FIGHT him. And on that note, he proceeded to deliver a thunderous punch to Summers’ face and sent him crashing to the mat. The fans cheered loudly, as they finally got to see Tugboat get a measure of revenge on the leader of the Psycho Circus. He then followed that up by stating that on July 8, he was bringing in the recognized Independant World Champion, a man by the name of Tim Storm, to face Summers.

So with that said, there are now three matches set for July 8 at the Cypress VFW. Loser Leaves NWA Houston, as former Impeccable teammates Ken Carson and Joey Diamond will battle for their respective job, Mr. B will finally get his shot at ACH for the NWA Jr. Heavyweight Championship, and Scot Summers will face Tim Storm in a match that will no doubt have many eyes in the state of Texas looking in.

More information about those matches, as well as injuries to Bolt Brady and SIlky Baines, and more information can be found at www.nwahouston.com. There is also a new store feature that has recently been added to the website. It is still under construction and being worked on, but you will be able to buy merchandise as well as event tickets from the website once it is fully available.
