AWE CEO Marvin Ward has been ruled out of the main event of the Oct. 15 Night of Legends pay-per-view. It was confirmed today that Ward suffered two broken bones in his right forearm. The recovery time for such an injury is 4-6 weeks, meaning Ward will not be healed in time to take part in the Night of Legends show.
The contract that Kevin Nash, Marvin Ward and The Rock-n-Roll Express signed Saturday night in Woodstock, Va., for the main-event tag-team match at the AWE Night of Legends pay-per-view featued a key stipulation with an impact on the short term: stating that the match was off if Nash laid a hand on either Morton or Gibson before the Oct. 15 pay-per-view.
With the ongoing war between Kevin Nash and Ricky Morton, on Saturday October 15th in Fishersville Virginia, at the Augusta Expo, Nash and Morton will finally come face to face inside a wrestling ring for AWE’s Awesome Night of the Legends super show.
“Ten years in the making, huh? Ten years of you running your mouth. You know what? Watch what you ask for, Ricky. Because sometimes, you get it,” said Nash in a video interview released today by Awesome Wrestling Entertainment.
Ricky Morton has been trying to pick a fight with Kevin Nash for 10 years. And now, the most anticipated match in wrestling history will finally happen October 15th in Fishersville Virginia as AWE, Awesome Wrestling Entertainment presents – Awesome Night of the Legends!
