From Tony Pulvino -- Hi Bill........Excellent insight into the business aspect of the Hogan deal. I believe you're spot on!
I fear one thing though: going forward that TNA does not become all Hogan. Or worse yet, Hogan and Bischoff turn it into "Son of WCW".
I strongly hope TNA will not put the things that got them this far on the back burner. Continue to push their exceptional young talent, including the Knockouts and the X-Division. Continue to sign the best indie talent, ala Nigel/Desmond; and continue to provide the best matches seen on tv in forever. //////////////////////////////
From Danny: --Bill, I agree with your views on the signing of Hogan. I am not sure how TNA is doing with PPV sales but this signing should help them out with that. Granted, Hogan is not even close to the in-ring talent that TNA is currently employing but...well...ITS HULK HOGAN!! Where I don't see this being an issue with the WWE in regards to weekly ratings out of the gate, I do foresee this being a huge stepping stone to creating a weekly Monday night show. And a Monday night TNA show would hopefully be the best thing ever to happen to the WWE as Vince would finally have to step it up. I truly believe that this signing could end up being very great for wrestling and us fans!

From Brian Hardy:--Hi Bill,
I have mixed emotions about the news of Hogan and Bischoff in TNA. On one hand, I think it is good for Vince McMahon to have some real competition. His product has been horribly stale for several years now. On the other hand, when I think of Hogan, Bischoff, and Russo together, I think of the end of WCW all over again. I know Bischoff isn’t in charge of the checkbook (yet), but I hope nothing stupid happens as a result of all of this to drive TNA out of business. Another thought which comes to mind is whether this is a good time for TNA to spend so much money now when the economy is so bad?

From JJTJ--I would of thought that TNA learned from the past, but
now they involve Hogan/Bischoff/Nash together?
Sorry, but that just spells trouble. Ask Turner etc.
Vince jr must be laughing big time. Who is next, Russo?
Nash can hardly walk to a ring these days..Hogan needs to plug his book..
Hey, I hope it works out, $$ wise, but there are too many
‘X’ factors that failed in the past to think it’s a smart move.
I just expected more brains out of TNA.
