TBO.com has a story about the death yesterday of former wrestler Brian "Crush" Adams. The story includes comments from former Demolition tag partners Bill "Ax" Eadie and others.
Eadie was quoted as saying he and Barry "Smash" Darsow had recently talked about calling Adams to ask him to be a part of a Demolition reunion. "I'm just shocked. This is sad. I feel so sorry for his family. I am at a loss for words. I am never at a loss for words," Eadie said.
Adams was found by his wife yesterday and she called 911 when she was unable to wake him up. Fire and Rescue workers arrived on the scene shortly after 1130am and were unable to revive him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Adams last worked for WWE in 2001 and wrestled infrequently after that. He retired following a spinal injury in 2003.
