Tommy Urbanski, a victim of a shooting last weekend in Las Vegas at Minxx Gentlemen's Club, has a wrestling background. Urbanski, remains hospitalized in Las Vegas with a severed spinal cord, wrestled in the 1980's including appearances for WWF television tapings.
Urbanski was working as a security guard/manager at Minxx last weekend when Tennessee Titans player "Pacman" Jones and his entourage were involved in a disturbance. Jones and his friends had been in town for the NBA All Star Game and ended up at Minxx. Witnesses say Jones was involved in an altercation in the club and was ejected by security guards. Allegations have been made that Jones made threats as he was being escorted from the club. The club owner alleges that someone from Jones' group returned a few minutes later and started shooting. One of the bullets hit Urbanski and severed his spinal cord.
Jones has been questioned by the Las Vegas Police department, but has not been named a suspect according to Jones' attorney. No action has been taken by the Titans or the NFL and the police investigation is continuing.
