Jim Ross has posted another blog update on his official website. Highlights include:

  • Ross is clearly still annoyed that he wasn't able to attend the Fiesta Bowl to watch the amazing game between Boise State and Oklahoma. Ross says after finishing the RAW broadcast he went to his hotel room and ordered room service and a Diet Pepsi and watched the 4th quarter of the game. Ross says, "I will always remember the 2007 Fiesta Bowl and will certainly remember where I was when this classic college football game was played."

  • Ross talks about Ric Flair's future and says "that's a tough one to answer". Ross says his hope is that Flair doesn't stay "too long" and "tarnish" his legacy. Ross is echoing what many people have been thinking lately, that it's time for Flair to hang it up as a regular in-ring performer.

  • Ross says Brock Lesnar had potential and "he still does".

  • Ross says Cryme Tyme "feels more like an entertainment duo than a street fighting, wrestling team."

  • Ross says he prefers the "old school squared circle" to TNA's 6 sided ring.

  • Ross says Shawn Michaels is in the top ten wrestlers he has ever seen and that he should not retire. Ross says losing Michaels would be a "crippling blow" to RAW.

  • Ross says he would love to see the UWF added to WWE 24/7, but that it's up to the current owner of the library to sell it to WWE "for a marketable price".

  • Ross picks Ohio State to beat Florida in the BCS Championship game

  • Ross wonders if he will still be around to broadcast Wrestlemania 23. Ross says, "I am looking forward to being a part of Wrestlemania 23 at Ford Field in Detroit, however with my track record in the WWE who knows for sure if I will make it until April 1."

  • Ross sends best wishes to Konnan during his current health crisis

Ross covers the above and much more in his most recent blog update.
