Sid Vicious returns to Pay Per View

  Pro Wrestling Superstars is pleased to announce that beginning 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 27th on Viewer's Choice, wrestling fans across Canada will be able to watch the return of Sid Vicious to Pay Per View. Sid shattered his leg on pay per view January 2001 and most wrestling observers believed that he would never walk properly again, let alone wrestle. But Sid shocked wrestling fans around the world making an unannounced return to active wrestling, teaming with Pierre Carl Ouellet during the Internet Wrestling Syndicate's Fifth Anniversary Show. And wrestling fans can watch Sid's astonishing return for only $5.99 during the fifth episode of Pro Wrestling Superstars: Past, Present and Future.

  It's only appropriate that this fifth episode of Pro Wrestling Superstars features the Fifth Anniversary of the Internet Wrestling Syndicate. This historic show from Montreal now becomes the first time that a Canadian wrestling federation has ever had an exclusive pay per view. Through out this Pay Per View, the IWS will be presenting footage that shows how it became one of the most talked about independent wrestling federations in Canada.

  The pay per view begins with a contest for the IWS Tag Team Title between the champion Syndicate de Lutte Internet and the challengers New Breed. The SLI, Viking and Damian, separatists from Montreal, are known for stiffing English tag teams. The New Breed from Quebec City, DJ Sick and Hellstorm, are a French team with a reputation as shooters. This match proved that the SLI have no problem stiffing a French team just as hard as they would an English one, and the New Breed responded in kind.

  Kevin Steen made his debut in the IWS against the baby oil phenom EXcesS69 and the two men have developed a bitter rivalry. Both consider themselves the best technical wrestler in Quebec. Every time the two men face each other, it is guaranteed to be the match of the night. Their match during the IWS Fifth Anniversary combined technical wrestling, high flying and the bad temper thuggery that is quickly becoming a Kevin Steen trademark.

  Pierre Carl Ouellet, the IWS champion, put his title on the line during the Fifth Anniversary against crowd favourite El Generico. Pierre Carl Ouellet had size, strength and experience on his side. El Generico brought speed, resiliency and the total support of the crowd. The match that resulted will be talked about by IWS fans for years.

  The final match on the Pay Per View is the ten team tag rumble that saw the return to active wrestling of Sid Vicious as he teamed with Pierre Carl Ouellet to face the Flying Hurricanes, Masked Assassins, the Fan Favourites, T-Unit, Los Latinos, the Mob, 2.0, le Syndicat de Lutte Internet and the Kid Kamikaze Experience.

The IWS Fifth Anniversary show is presented as the fifth episode of Pro Wrestling Superstars: Past, Present and Future on Viewer¹s Choice and is available for the bargain price of $5.99 starting Tuesday, July 27th at 8pm. The Pay per View will also show on Tuesday, July 27th at 9:30pm and 11pm. It will repeat on Saturday, July 31st at 6:00 am, 7:30am, 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm, 4:30pm, 6:00pm, 7:30pm, 9:00pm and 10:30pm.

Viewer's Choice and Pro Wrestling Superstars are also pleased to announce that Saturday, August 14th will be PWS day on Viewer's Choice as four episodes of Pro Wrestling Superstars are played in sequence all day long.
