OVW TV for October 11th starts off with the usual and outdated montage of clips, and then the OVW name displayed across the screen. We go to the Davis Arena entrance way and see WWE Women's Champion Molly Holly making her entrance (with non-WWE music) as Jim Cornette welcomes us. He lets us know that tonight we will see Matt Capotelli take on Bob "Hardcore" Holly in our TV Main Event, as well as "Mr. Wrestling" Nick Dinsmore against "This Year's Model" Mark Magnus to declare the #1 Contender for the OVW Championship. Molly is introduce and then her opponent, Jillian Hall makes her entrance. She is introduced as well and we kick things off.

Molly Holly vs. Jillian Hall
They lock up and Molly gets the early lead with a headlock. Cornette remembers a forgotten storyline, and explains that Molly was in Louisville to visit her cousin Hardcore Holly. Molly got taken down with a pair of Japanese Arm Drags, then a body slam and rolled outside. Molly got back on the apron and snapped Jillian's arm on the rope, then a spinning arm breaker, followed by a cover but only a two. She works on the left arm of Jillian Hall, and Jillian fights back with rights and a whip into the ropes, but Molly stops that with a Jumping Arm Breaker. She works on the arm some more, goes for a cover but gets a two. Molly goes to the top, trying for the Molly-Go-Round but lands on the mat, solo, as Jillian tries for a Crucifix but only a two. Jillian starts to get the advantage with several near falls, eventually going for a Monkey Flip in the corner, blocked by Molly, she rolls her and puts her feet on the rope getting her the three count. The referee sees her taking her feet off, and calls for the match to be restarted. Jillian wastes no time going at Holly with chops and a scoop slam. She goes to the top, but is tossed off from behind by Nikita. Nikita and Molly double team Jillian until she is saved by the debuting Alexis Laree.

We come back from commercial and are recapped of last week's match between Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore, where the winner will face the winner of Magnus/Morgan to determine the #1 Contender for the OVW Title. The finish saw Dinsmore hit the German Suplex on Conway after referee Ray Ramsey wrestled a chair way from Conway.

Rob Conway makes his way to the ring as Cornette introduces him and says that Conway would have liked to get even with OVW Champion Johnny Jeter, but that plan was interrupted last week thanks to Nick Dinsmore. Conway says that he's known for weeks that he couldn't get a fair shot at Jeter's title, because once he won, he would take the title to WWE. He claimed that referee Ray Ramsey was biased and cost him the match, but his "friend" John Laurinitis would take care of that along with other things next week. Cornette goes on a rampage, claiming that Laurinitis has disrespected him, the wrestlers and the fans for the way he's treated OVW. Conway talks about facing the one night returning Damaja (Danny Basham) next week, and that to be fair he will bring along a WWE referee. Cornette says that it's great for that to happen, but to make sure everything's fair, there will also be an OVW referee. The interview ends with Conway saying he can't wait to see the Damaja, just as much as Laurinitis can't wait to see Cornette. Cornette returns the favor.

Back from break we recap last week's match between Mark Magnus and Matt Morgan. Morgan is disqualified after using a chain that was thrown in for Magnus from Rob Conway. Magnus thus won the right to face Nick Dinsmore tonight for the #1 Contendership. Back to "live" action we see "This Year's Model" Mark Magnus along with Nikita coming to the ring for his match. "Mr. Wrestling" Nick Dinsmore then comes out, and is introduced and we are ready to declare the #1 Contender for the OVW Title

#1 Contender's Match:
Nick Dinsmore vs. Mark Magnus
They trade multiple reversals, with Dinsmore working on Magnus's arm, but Magnus fights back. More reversals and Dinsmore is sent off to the ropes but Shoulder Blocks Magnus and gets a two. Dinsmore takes down Magnus with a Snapmare and covers for a two. Magnus fights back with a chop and tried for the turnbuckle face smash, but again Dinsmore reverses and gets another two. Magnus fights back with elbows and rights to the head, but Dinsmore comes back with some chops. Dinsmore goes to the ropes, and Magnus throws him over the ropes as he is on his way back (illegal in OVW, but the ref's back was turned). Ramsey asks Magnus if he did it, Magnus claims no, crowd claims yes. Magnus comes out and works on Dinsmore, then rolls him back in. Covers but only a two, then we go to a break. We come back and Magnus is still in control, hitting a back elbow. Hits a vertical suplex, but can only get a two count. Magnus whips him to the ropes and hits a hip toss, another two count. Magnus goes for what appears to be a Twisting Double Underhook Slam, but Magnus went higher than Dinsmore thought, as Dinsmore was on the mat as Magnus was coming down, landing on Dinsmore's face. What happened looked worse than what was intended. Magnus covered and still only got a two. Dinsmore fights back, reversing a small package. Magnus goes for a hip toss, but Dinsmore turns in to a Victory Roll, but another near fall. Magnus scoop slams and heads to the top rope. Dinsmore runs up to the top (a la Kurt Angle) Magnus headbutts him twice, Dinsmore falls off and Magnus slips or just decided to fall off. Dinsmore hits a German Suplex which causes Magnus to backflip and land on his gut, crawls over to Magnus, but Magnus gets his foot on the rope. Dinsmore starts to make a Steamboat comeback, locks on the Crossface, but Magnus gets to the ropes. Magnus leans on the ropes and Dinsmore gets a Waistlock, Magnus blocks two attempts by hanging on, Dinsmore slaps the kidneys causing Magnus to let go, reverse roll up, kick out by Magnus sends Dinsmore outside. Dinsmore gets back to the apron, Sunset Flips over, Magnus blocks and holds on to Nikita and gets the win, as well as the #1 Contendership in 10:25.

Another commercial break and we come back as Dean Hill leads us to a recap of last week's match between "Tough Enough III" winner John Hennigan and Disciples of Synn member Seven. Hennigan hits a 360 Corkscrew Moonsault, covers Seven, but Synn runs in and pulls him, causing the DQ. Hennigan blasts Synn, then is attacked from behind by Seven's partner Bane. They double team Hennigan until his partner, the other "Tough Enough III" winner Matt Capotelli makes the save. We go back to the arena and Cornette is in the ring as Hennigan is coming out. Hennigan says that he wanted a tag match with partner Matt against the Disciples of Synn, but Matt is busy taking care of business with Hardcore Holly. Cornette announces that he put Hennigan in contact and his partner for next week...former Disciple of Synn...Leviathan (Batista). The Disciples come out and Hennigan bails, and they let their anger be known before running Cornette off as well. During the break, we see a commercial that claims next week will be "Night of the Demon" as we see old hype footage of Leviathan after he made his debut a few years back.

Back to last week, Hardcore Holly is in the ring, defending his actions towards Matt Capotelli during taping of "Tough Enough III." He runs down Capotelli, until Capotelli comes out and challenges Holly to a match, but Holly says that he'll face him next week. Capotelli comes to the ring, ready for his "showdown" with Holly. Holly comes out and is introduced, then we go to our last break of the evening.

MAIN EVENT:
Matt Capotelli vs. Bob "Hardcore" Holly
When we come back we see Capotelli chasing Holly around the ring, Holly rolls in and attacks Capotelli as he follows. Capotelli lays into Holly with clotheslines, then chops in the corner, followed by kicks, then Holly goes outside. Capotelli runs out and works on Holly, sending him into the ring post. Back in the ring, Capotelli runs at Holly, but Holly throws Capotelli up into a Hot Shot. Holly works on Capotelli in the corner, then Capotelli reverses, but meets a boot when going for a splash in the corner. Two count after a suplex by Holly. Holly lays Capotelli on the rope, lifts his legs and kicks him the gut. Holly hits one of his trademark dropkicks to the face after a reversal of a whip from Capotelli, but scores a near-fall. Holly had Capotelli in a sleeper, thrown off into the ropes and Capotelli locks on one of his own, but Holly breaks it with a back suplex. Capotelli gets in some right hands, whips him into the corner and hits a dropkick on the way back. Capotelli comes off the ropes as Holly comes from another whip the turnbuckle with a corkscrew splash but gets a two. Holly regain control after a boot to the face. The Disciples of Synn run in and attack Capotelli. Hennigan runs in and works on all three but is unsuccessful. The OVW officials try to help but are laid out as well. Holly hits the Alabama Slam on Capotelli. Many other OVW wrestlers try to run in for the save but are all cut off. The show ends with Holly and the Disciples of Synn in the ring, over the fallen team of Capotelli & Hennigan.
