Austin and Foley on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Here is a recap of Steve Austin and Mick Foley's appearances on Friday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live. 

Kimmel introduced Foley, who has been his guest co-host all week. Mick gets a good pop, and several Foley chants. Foley says that he has had a great week, but is upset that the Rock has been getting more press for his movie than Foley has for his book.

Foley shows a copy of Rock being on the cover of GQ magazine, and then of himself on a copy of DQ magazine.

Kimmel brings out the shows young announcer Andy Malinakis, who is a big Foley fan. 

They do a musical montage of Foley teaching Andy how to be a man. This includes Foley punching him repeatedly in the face (which the kid sold pretty well), then sending him into a bar wearing an "I Love Saddam" T-shirt, getting a tattoo, going to the liquor store, choosing movies at the video store, working on a car, and shooting guns all the while breaking beer bottles of the kid's head.

Foley then tells a story about losing his front teeth during a match in Milwaukee, and then fans returning the teeth to him a year later.

Later Austin comes out to a big pop. He shakes hand with David Alan Grier, who was interviewed prior to him, and said that wrestling was fake. Austin squeezed his hand, and Grier grimaced in pain. Foley brings up Austin's neck surgery from a few years ago. 

Austin thanked the makeup lady for hiding the bags under his eyes otherwise he would've had to get them checked at the airport.

Kimmel asks Austin about his duties as GM of Raw. Austin says they include drinking beer, cussing people out, flipping them the bird, and making a match or two. 

Austin says it hasn't been easy working with Eric Bischoff who fired him from WCW. Bischoff's name mention gets boos from the audience.

Austin said he used to travel the roads with Foley. Mick tells the story about Austin and William Regal leaving him stranded at a gay beach in Fort Lauderdale. 

Austin plugged the Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton match saying that Shawn is one of his all time favorites and than Orton is a great third generation talent that he hopes will be elevated by this match. 

He also plugged the Goldberg vs. HHH match saying it will be a great match with two contrasting styles.

The interview closes with Foley plugging Austin's book which comes out next month.
