There is a lot of talk that Chavo Guerrero will return to Smackdown from his biceps injury, which he suffered in May, this coming week at Tuesday's Smackdown taping in El Paso, TX.  Chavo is said to be ready to return to action and back in good health.

WWE sent out an email to people on their fan list yesterday running down the matches for SummerSlam.  On it, they wrote that Eddie Guerrero will defend his US Title against Chris Benoit and Rhyno.  Tajiri was left off of the mailing.  It was a mistake by whoever sent the mail out.  Tajiri is indeed still in the match.

Officially, the Matt Hardy vs. Zach Gowen match is still on the PPV, though it won't actually take place.  It's expected that it will be announced tomorrow at the show that Gowen "can't compete due to injuries he suffered from Brock Lesnar on Smackdown."  It's amazing to me how spur of the moment things are done in WWE nowadays.  At first, they were going to do an angle where Brock worked against Zach, with Vince McMahon as the ref, at this past week's Smackdown.  They announced it locally in Detroit, which is Gowen's hometown.  By last weekend, they changed their minds and pulled that match and also announced Zach vs. Matt Hardy for SummerSlam.  Then on Tuesday at Smackdown, they changed their minds again and put the Brock vs. Zach match back on Smackdown, without Vince as the ref, and had Brock destroy Zach.  How can we expect them to book long term when they are actually doing things day-to-day now?
