Superior Wrestling made its Middle Georgia debut and ran the second show in its history on June 20 at the Civic Center in Warner Robins, GA. The company's base and training facility is located in Jasper, GA. The crowd was said to be 370 people. They were hot all night. Most of the matches were good, which made for an overall entertaining show. The semi-main and main event were weak, but the main was changed late due to Rick Steiner not being there. Results look like this:

Lash Leroux defeated Chris Marlin. Marlin was trained by Sarge (Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker) at the Super Power Plant (the training facility.) Leroux worked as a heel. He got heel heat by doing his trademark "Oooh wheeee!" Really good wrestling match. Lots of mat wrestling, counter-wrestling. Marlin has a good look. He did do a few high spots, including a quebrada (Lionsault) which he admitted later he didn't hit. Finish came when Marlin slipped out of a move by Leroux, and tried to roll him up. Both men and the ref rolled into the ropes. Leroux reversed it, and while the ref was blinded, held onto the ropes for a three count.

Damien Dynamite and Jorge Estrada wrestled to a no-contest. The match started slow with Dynamite doing the old heel stalling bit, slipping out of the ring, etc. But once it got going, it was a good match. Dynamite used heel tactics like a low blow combined with good mat wrestling to work on Estrada. Estrada used his scientific skill and used highspots like a nice tornado ddt. You could tell the crowd was into the action and was a wrestling crowd, they didn't boo or lose their heat when Dynamite used a chinlock during the match. Out of nowhere, Scott Norton comes in, throws Dynamite out, and attacks Estrada. Sarge comes down, and asks what he's doing? Norton says something about wanting a match. Sarge and Norton Brawl. Norton sells for Sarge, but then takes the advantage once NWO Sting runs in. Several wrestlers try to make the save, but they are laid out by Norton and Sting. Finally, Ron Reis comes in and clears the ring.

Glacier & "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko defeated David Taylor & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton. Crowd was way into this match, chanting USA at Taylor who had the Union Jack with him. They also popped big for Zbyszko, several "Larry" chants. Fun match. Not the fastest of paces, but all four guys were working hard. Eaton took a lot of bumps, including a hip toss on the stage outside the ring. Glacier hit the kryonic kick on Eaton to get the win. You could hear the smack of the kick.

Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker defeated NWO Sting. Parker bumped, sold, worked, did everything possible to make this match good. But Sting just didn't impress me at all. For some reason, the match just didn't look good. Not because Parker didn't work hard though. Sting just didn't seem to be in it. Finish came when Parker rolled up Sting for the win.

Ron Reis & Sarge defeated Scott Norton in a handicap match. At least that's what I think happened. Match was supposed to be Norton vs. Rick Steiner. But Norton comes out and says Steiner took a wrong turn, and wouldn't be there. Sarge comes out and asks what Norton means, Norton says Steiner had an accident and wouldn't be there. Parker said he had a surprise for Norton, and asked what about a lumberjack strap match. Parker then attacks Norton (who was getting into it hot and heavy with a fan at that time.) They brawl some, Norton is dominating when Reis comes out. Then lumberjacks come out and it appears to be Reis VS. Norton. There was also the obligatory brawling between the faces and heels outside the ring. Some of them, including Sarge, brawled in the ring as well. During the confusion, NWO Sting comes out and hits Reis with a weak chairshot to the back. Reis sells it. Norton and Sarge are in the ring, Reis recovers, taps Norton on the shoulder as he is about to powerbomb Sarge, shakes his finger as if to say "no no" and hits Norton. A powerbomb later, and Sarge pins Norton. If I got any details of this match wrong, sorry. It was really hard to follow. It would've been much simpler for Sarge to come out, announce the match, then have Reis hit the ring, and then have the lumberjacks come out. Main event just came off as really disorganized and overbooked. But the fans were into it and popped for the finish.

Notes: I was told that Steiner could not be there due to unforseen circumstances. The company's next show will be on June 28 at the Civic Center in Thomaston. They promised Steiner would be there, he will main event against Norton that evening. Numerous indy wrestling people at the show: Keith Steinborn was backstage, as well as "Dangerous" Danny Horne. Bambi was there visiting. Susan Meeks, who is now involved with the NAWA out of North Georgia/Cleveland, TN was helping with the gimmick table for Estrada and Glacier. Indy wrestlers "Mad" Mac Davis and "The Platinum Playboy" Preston Paradise shot an angle to further their feud before the show started. Davis was also one of the workers who came in during the second match and was one of the lumberjacks. "The singing cowboy" Ronnie Gossett (no relation to Ronnie P.) was also a lumberjack. Those in the crowd included Peach State Wrestling promoter Ben Masters, Daniel Henry, as well as indy workers Dirty Don and Xtreme Phenom.
