The show opens with the XWF opening instead of the regular Memphis Wrestling opening. Then we see Corey and Jimmy Hart sitting behind the announce desk. Corey asks Jimmy how he got that opening played and Jimmy says that he has some great lawyers and Corey should find some! He got some and that's how he got 50% of this show. (This is the only explanation we get for how Hart got 50% control.) They then hype the card and the main event of Shock and Awe vs. Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee in a XWF tag title match.

Doug Gilbert comes out being interviewed by Jimmy Hart. Hart asks him to tell everyone what it was like to beat the King. Gilbert puts over Hart and his manager skills. Gilbert then cuts a promo about how Lawler sucks. Hart then shows the tattoos he got. One was the "real king of Memphis" Elvis on one bicep and the other was the greatest man Hart ever managed, Hulk Hogan. Hart makes a point to tell Lawler that Hogan was the greatest he managed and not Lawler. Doug then says he'll get the $10,000 Lawler stole and Hart says that if he gets it back, Hart will give him 10%.

David Penzer is back announcing all matches as XWF events.

Match #1 Doug Gilbert vs. Kevin White

This was a good back and forth match. Kevin White has some real talent. (Surprising because he was trained by Bill Dundee.) Kevin has the upper hand for most of the match until Doug pulls a chain out of his tights and clobbers Kevin White. Doug gets the 1-2-3.

Winner: Doug Gilbert

Commercial break

Coming back from the break Corey compliments the crowd so Jimmy goes out with a mic. He sits next to an 83 year old guy in the audience. He insults the guy with all the old "Does the Undertaker know you are still walking around" cracks and then says that when the XWF takes over, there won't be people like this in the crowd.

Corey then shows the clip of last week and the arrival of the Moondogs. Jimmy then brings out the Moondogs, Spot and the Son of Moondog who looks like a poor man's Balls Mahoney. Jimmy says he is going to feed the Moondogs because when they are happy they do favors for him. So, Hart opens a can of Alpo dog food and the Moondogs share it in a dog dish!

Penzer introduces the wrestlers for the next match.

Match #2 The Naturals vs. Flex and Kodiak

The Naturals are a great looking cruiserweight tag team. They have the cocky attitude and a fast paced in ring style. Another good match with some good moves. I have been impressed with the quality of matches the show has put on in the past couple of weeks. Kodiak and Flex have the upper hand until the Naturals start to cheat. Double team moves put them in charge. Flex is in trouble until Kodiak gets the tag. Kodiak starts to clean house. All 4 guys are in the ring when Chase Stevens sends Flex over the top rope. The ref goes to check on Flex while Kodiak hits a power slam on Andy Douglas. Chase then kicks Kodiak in the face and Douglas bridges him over for a pin. The ref comes in and Douglas grabs the 2nd rope and gets the 1-2-3.

Winners: The Naturals

The Naturals grab the mic and state "Naturally...we win!"

Commercial break

Corey brings out Reggie Walker. Reggie talks about his 14 year career and says now its time to get on the right track. (After 14 years??) He asks the people to get behind him and support him. Jimmy Hart interrupts and tells Reggie that he is a joke. He says that he has been a 14 year joke. He tells Reggie to quit and that is his professional opinion. Reggie says that he respects Jimmy and will never ever forget what he just said.

Match #3 B.A.D. vs. Reggie Walker

Reggie has the "old school" style of punching and kicking and clotheslines. B.A.D. gets the upper hand and hits some nice moves including a great reverse heel kick. B.A.D. then chokes Reggie and won't let go. When the ref tries to break it up, B.A.D. throws the ref into the turnbuckles. The ref calls for the bell. Corey tries to put B.A.D. over as being crazy. (Character direction finally?)

Winner: Reggie Walker by DQ

Commercial break

Corey tells everyone where to see Memphis Wrestling around the area and how to get tickets for the TV tapings.

Jimmy Hart has Shock and Awe in the back for an interview. Jimmy says he has the Weapons of Mass Destruction! They tell Lawler and Dundee they have no chance.

Corey in studio interviews Lawler and Dundee. Dundee says it's always the same thing. A big and bad guy comes in and says that they are getting rid of the King and The Superstar and it never happens. Lawler says that almost every guy in the WWE came through Memphis to try the King and the Superstar and they are still standing. Shock and Awe will be no different. Lawler says they don't care about the XWF, but they will be glad to hold another tag title.

David Penzer introduces the XWF tag champions. Then he introduces Lawler and Dundee as the Self proclaimed Superstar and the man who claims to be the King of Memphis.

Main Event Fall #1
Shock and Awe vs. Lawler and Dundee

Shock and Dundee start out and Dundee gets thrown around like a rag doll. Lawler gets the tag and Lawler comes in with a right hand. Shock regroups and begins to slam and throw Lawler around. Lawler finally connects with another fist and Shock tags Awe. Awe backs Lawler into the Shock and Awe corner and the double team begins. Awe (who I finally identified as Ian Harrison from the worlds strongest man competition) has things in control until he holds Lawler for Shock to come off the top rope with a double axehandle and Lawler moves. Lawler dispatches Shock out of the ring and Lawler gets the pin!

Commercial break

Fall #2
Jimmy Hart at the color position keeps saying everything is OK. Then he complains that the ref has a machine gun arm and is counting too fast. Lawler and Dundee go for quick pins every time Shock or Awe hit the mat. Hart complains again. Lawler and Dundee double team Awe and Hart says that Lawler paid the ref.

Shock slams Lawler and goes for a pin and Lawler breaks it by putting his foot on the bottom rope. Shock picks up Lawler and slams him into the turnbuckle and when Lawler falls, Shock goes for the pin. Again Lawler uses the rope to break the count. Jimmy Hart is going nuts. "How can he reach the ropes? The guy is only 6 feet tall!" Shock again slams Lawler's head into the turnbuckle. He again goes for the pin. At the two count Lawler puts his foot on the rope but Jimmy Hart is there to knock it off and the three count falls.

Commercial break

They come back and show Jimmy the replay and Jimmy says it's trick photography. Then he says it was a look alike. Finally he says its old footage from another match.

Fall #3
The final fall starts off with all four guys in the ring brawling. The ref counts anybody who has a pin. Hart is screaming, "Who's the legal man?" (Good question Jimmy). Close falls all over the place and finally, Lawler climbs the rope to deliver the fist drop when Jimmy Hart blows the whistle. Hart stops the ref from counting three and the Moondogs run in with chairs. Dundee and Lawler take a beating.

Winners of 2 out of 3 falls: Lawler and Dundee. The last fall was a DQ and the belts can't change hands on a DQ. Shock and Awe are still XWF champions.

Commercial break

Lawler and Dundee are on the mic and said they would be champs if not for Jimmy Hart. They challenge Shock and Awe to a match where Hart is handcuffed or straight jacketed or banned from ringside. They are waiting for the answer. And we will have to wait until next week. Corey says, "See you next week!"
