Gene welcomes us in with his customary quick howdy and we get down to business. Our 'Cover Story' tonight focuses on Rico Constantino, who originally came to WWE as the manager/stylist for the tag team of Billy and Chuck. He later turned on the two in a well-publicized incident, and now manages Rosey and Jamal on Raw. Gene mentions that prior to coming to WWE, Rico served for a time on the Las Vegas police department.

Cut to Rico flashing back to one of his more traumatic experiences as a police officer. On April 11, 1987, Rico was witness to a motorcyclist losing control of his bike and going face first into a parked car-Rico immediately went to administer first aid. Present-day footage rolls of Rico with the motorcyclist, a cat named Jamie Healey. Jamie seems to have little recollection of the accident. Rico recalls that at one point Jamie stopped breathing-at that point he simply yelled in his ear, "BREATHE Motherf-er!" Jamie took a deep breath, paramedics then arrived to take over and bring Jamie to a hospital, where he underwent surgery. Jamie spent some time in a coma-his friend Tracy Nielander recalls that Rico made daily visits. Jamie eventually regained consciousness and was discharged from the hospital. Rico again came to visit-Jamie admits he had no idea who Rico was at first, and had to be given a refresher by his family. Segment ends with Jamie giving Rico the lion's share of the credit for saving his life. Break.

Gene returns to introduce our next topic, the recently retired Hardcore Championship. We flash back to one of Crash Holly's many acquisitions of the HC strap (date unknown). In a post-match interview with Lillian Garcia, Crash announced that he would henceforth defend the title 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. WWE agent Bruce Prichard states this led to the infamous '24/7 Rule', which saw the belt being on the line constantly, regardless of time or location. This rule was in place until a week before the title's retirement. 

Crash mentions he had a blast defending the title under the rule. We again flash back, this time to one of Crash's more memorable HC title defenses-at one time he was attacked in his hotel room by all 3 members of the legendary Mean Street Posse (Joey Abs, Pete Gas and Rodney). Crash managed to escape with the belt while the Posse brawled over the right to score the pinfall. 

Quick clips roll of Crash successfully defending his title in encounters with Ivory and a referee, then its to the Posse again, staging assaults in a Laundromat and at an airport-both times Crash emerged victorious. We move along to Bruce's favorite Crash/24-7 moment-at one time the Headbangers (Mosh and Thrash) went for Crash's belt in a Funtime amusement arcade-again Crash made good his escape. Bruce praises Crash for his willingness to do 'anything', and Crash closes the segment by stating that his 24/7 HC title defenses have so far been the highlights of his career. Break.

Gene returns for a quick bit of name-dropping, referencing his good friend Steven Tyler (singer for Aerosmith). This leads to our next subject, the entrance music used by wrestlers. He mentions that the new 'WWE Anthology' CD that hits the streets this Tuesday will feature entrance themes used by WWE stars from stars such as Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels. 

(Commentary: Yep, time for another segment focusing on the Heartbreak Kid. One of these days I have to go back and check who's gotten more pieces on Confidential, Shawn or Booker T. Hey, I'm not complaining!)

We see Shawn making entrances using his 'Sexy Boy' theme in his standard flamboyant outfits. Shawn good-naturedly admits to being a pretty crummy dancer, also feels that his vocal performance on 'Sexy' was only made listenable by studio magic. Quick segment ends with Shawn stating that he'll 'take this gig as long as they'll allow me to have it.'

Gene moves along to shill for the syndicated show 'Blind Date'. This week Tough Enough alumni Maven, Nidia, Chris Nowinski, Jackie Gayda and Linda Miles will be making appearances. In a nutshell, puff piece, Chris Nowinski provides the lone highlight, engaging in a horrific saxophone duet with an unnamed young woman. Break.

WWE Rewind: From 6/1/2001, Bradshaw plays golf.

Gene returns to mention Bradshaw sponsors a charity golf tournament for the 'Make a Wish' Foundation. Bradshaw was unable to participate in this years tourney due to injury-Bubba Ray Dudley took his place. Great cause, goofy segment. Break.

Back, we hear more from Rico about his days as a policeman. He discusses successfully fending off an attack by a mentally challenged woman with the aid of a fire hose. OK.

Gene returns to shill for Jim Ross' new cookbook. We cut to a photo shoot for the book's cover-Trish Stratus, Lita, Terri and Stacy Keibler are featured.
This year's book features recipes from members of J.R.'s family. It'll also contain J.R.'s thoughts on the Junkyard Dog, André the Giant and Owen Hart. Break.

(Last commercial of the break hypes the 'Elimination Chamber' match scheduled for the upcoming 'Survivor Series' PPV. As a refresher, scheduled to compete in the chamber are Rob Van Dam, Booker T., Kane, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and HHH, who's World title will be on the line.)

Gene returns to mention we'll be getting our first look at the chamber on the 'WWE Super Tuesday' Special that airs on UPN at 9 P.M. this, you guessed it, Tuesday. Gene wraps things up by announcing that on next weeks Confidential, we'll take a look at some highlights from past 'Survivor Series', also we'll spend some time with Bubba Ray as he prepares for the PPV .
