SUMMERSLAM MATCH #3 — BIG SHOW V STRAIGHT EDGE SOCIETY

Posted August 15th, 2010 by admin

After a promo for NIght of Champions, they showed Trace Adkins and Marlon Wayans and several other celebrities.

The WWE showed Big Show pulling the mask off the clean-shaven dome of C.M. Punk. Then the video showed the Straight Edge Society trying to break Show’s hand. Supposedly, Show has torn ligaments and broken bones in the hand.

The show came live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This was the 23rd annual of the gerat show. The Pre-show was hosted Scott and Jack. Scott is new to Pre-shows but he is great. His voice works so well.

From there, they talked about Rey Mysterio v Kane and Nexus v Team WWE. They ran a video package of the Backstory of… Read more.

SUMMERSLAM MATCH #1 — DOLPH ZIGGLER V KOFI KINGSTON FOR THE I-C TITLE

Posted August 15th, 2010 by admin

Opening Segment and Match #1

The show opened with a cryptic “There is a Change coming…” video opening. It sounded like something out of a cheesy 80s sci-fi movie.

Welcome to the 23rd annual Summerslam, live from L.A., California. Michael Cole welcomed the fans to the show, along with Jerry “The King” Lawler and Matt Striker.

Dolph Ziggler v Kofi Kingston

Intercontinental CHampionship Match

Highlights:

Ok, some will laugh at me, but Vickie Guerrero was stunning in a shiny short dress. She busted loose with the “Excuse Me” screech. Thankfully, she was silenced by the arrival of Kofi Kingston. Kofi bopped his way down to the… Read more.

SUMMERSLAM MATCH #2 — ALICIA FOX V MELINA FOR THE DIVAS TITLE

Posted August 15th, 2010 by admin

In the back, Chris Jericho begged The Miz to join their team to face off against Nexus. Edge gnawed on a Slim Jim and told Miz to “seize the opportunity”. Jericho said this match could elevate Miz to the level of Legend. Miz appreciated the offer and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to risk it all to face Nexus.

The Divas title was up for grabs, next. Alicia Fox sauntered to the ring. She was gorgeous in cocoa and blue. Melina then returned home to go after the Divas title. Melina walked the red carpet in a Native American outfit… Read more.

“ROUGH CUTS” SUMMERSLAM PREDICTIONS

Posted August 15th, 2010 by admin

This is Sal LaSardo and tonight this is the WWE 3rd major PPV Event of the year SummerSlam.

My Predictions —

Dolph Ziggler will retain over Kofi because he is rapidly becoming a solid wrestler for the WWE, especially with Vicki Guerrero at his side. It makes no sense to pull the belt off Dolph after already pulling the WWE title off Jack Swagger and he seems to have lost his niche. Dolph retains with the help of Vicki.

The Big Show will demonstrate why you don’t mess with this man as the Straight Edge Society will fall one choke-slam after the… Read more.

MY PICKS FOR SUMMERSLAM

Posted August 15th, 2010 by admin

Here are the matches and my picks for tonight’s SUMMERSLAM pay-per-view …

WWE Champion SHEAMUS vs. RANDY ORTON

My Pick — Randy Orton wins the title.

WORLD title Champion KANE vs. REY MYSTERIO

Kane survives and retains the gold belt.

TEAM RAW vs. THE NEXUS
I sense a major turn here with perhaps Bret Hart or John Cena being the culprit to assisting Nexus in some way to win this one and taking this huge feud onto another level.

DIVA’S Champion ALICIA FOX vs. MELINA
Melina’s return is red-hot and just the person to put the belt on at this time.

In a Handicap Match THE STRAIGHT… Read more.
