The Undertaker made his return to discuss the possible match against Shane McMahon. Also, another Hall of Fame induction was announced.

The show began with a look back at the fist fight between HHH and Roman Reigns, from last week. HHH just wore out Roman by slamming the big Samoan’s face into the announce table, over and over. Roman was busted open. I so hate that black and white non-blood crap. HHH nailed the Pedigree, sending Roman’s face into the bottom section of the ring steps.

Roll the opening montage!

Since the is Leap Year Day, shouldn’t the show be completely focused on the High Flyers?

Welcome to Nashville, TN. We are 34 days out from Wrestlemania and I’m 30 Days from going “home” to Dallas for Wrestlecon.

Triple H walked out, dressed to the nines. Roman ended up with a shattered nose that required reconstructive surgery. The crowd was seriously hostile towards the champ. HHH knew most people bowed down to him, just like they do to all authority figures. HHH was dead on when he talked about people wanting to stand up to The Boss. HHH explained that Fear keeps people in their place. HHH thought Roman should have known his place and respect his own fear. HHH considered the challenge by Roman to be a sign of disrespect. HHH praised himself for possibly taking Roman out of the Wrestlemania match.

Dean Ambrose cut off HHH’s rant. The announcers couldn’t believe that Dean would interrupt the champ. Dean said he just talked to Roman. Roman sent a message that he was coming for Trip. HHH joked about Dean being buddies with Roman. Dean brought up his Street Fight with Brock at Mania. Dean also mentioned Shane vs Undertaker. The fans broke out with the “Shane-o Mac” chant. Dean asked HHH is he liked Shane but HHH didn’t answer. Dean asked HHH who he was hoping would win the Triple Threat at Fastlane? Actually, he wondered who HHH did NOT want to win. HHH knew that Dean was not going to be a factor in that match. Dean got right up in HHH’s face and said it may be hard for HHH to remember the “little people”. Dean expressed that he was the last person that HHH would want to face. HHH chuckled and said Dean was “mental”. Dean accepted that he doesn’t always make the best choices. Dean said HHH was smart…smart enough to know he couldn’t be a guy like Dean.

HHH suggested that Dean was unclean and lacking in power. “You Can’t Beat Him” rang out from the Nashville crowd. Dean threw out a challenge to HHH, for tonight. Dean wanted HHH to put up the World title. Dean said HHH just might not be the World champ on April 3rd. HHH told Dean that things didn’t work like Dean wanted. HHH was willing to consider the match and let Dean know before the end of the Raw. HHH let Dean know that Ambrose’s Night Off had been cancelled. HHH put Dean against Alberto Del Rio. The others in the League of Nations would be allowed at ringside.

Raw showed the return of Shane McMahon from last week. So cool. Vince put Shane against The Undertaker, in Hell in a Cell, at Mania. If Shane wins, he gets control of Raw. I’d love to see Taker tell Vince that he would NOT fight Shane. Taker and Vince will be talking, later on.

Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks
Number One Contender’s Match

Charlotte and Ric Flair both sat ringside to figure out who would get Charlotte at Mania. I think Sasha would be a better challenger, even though I like Becky.

Collar and Elbow and Sasha took a Side headlock. Snap Mare into a Side headlock by Becky. Sasha prevented the Dis-Armer. The two women kept going back and forth. Backslide by Becky but it only brought a two. Crucifix Side Slide by Sasha. The two women countered each other’s submission finishers. Becky ducked under and tried for a Roll Up. Sasha tossed Becky out to the floor. Becky rocked Sasha with a Basement Dropkick, after avoiding the same move. Sasha sent Becky into the corner post as Raw went to break.

Becky was getting her butt handed to her by The Boss as Raw returned. Springboard Thrust Kick into an Exploder by Becky. Sasha slid out of a Scoop Slam. Air Bourne Double Knees by Sasha. The two women slugged it out. Sasha wanted the Backslide but Becky rolled through. They went to the ropes and Becky clocked Sasha with a hard boot to the face. Becky went up top and hit a wicked Missile Dropkick. 1-2-not just yet.

Sasha threw Becky into the corner. Becky Elbowed banks wildly. The two Divas went up on the ropes and Becky hit a ton of Headbutts. Sunset Flip Bomb by Sasha. 3 count but who won?

The ref explained that all 4 shoulders were down and this ended up a Draw. Seriously?

Your Winner: Double Pin
Raw Ranking: 3.0 out of a possible 5

The fans quickly began to chant for a Triple Threat.

The Wyatt Family broke in and talked about the definition of Insanity. Bray felt that he might well be insane, since he still wanted to battle the Titans to save the World and the WWE Universe. Bray opened the door to let someone in. If the person didn’t join them, he would be destroyed? Ryback?

Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz

Raw flashed back to an incident between these two, last week.

The bell rang and Dolph almost rolled up Miz. Miz was off his game, especially after taking a Dropkick and Neckbreaker. Heart Stopper Elbow Drop by Dolph. Miz blocked the Superkick. Dropkick by Dolph after blocking the Skull Crushing Finale. Miz threw Dolph into the corner ad quickly pinned Dolph. Wow!

Your Winner: The Miz
Raw Ranking: 2.0

Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and JBL took us back to last week’s surprise return of Shane McMahon. Shane-o has something over his dad and pop has been paying Shane to keep quiet for years. It was awesome how much the fans remembered the 4th generation star. Shane let his little sister know that he never gave up his place in Line (of succession). Vince then wanted to write off his son with more money. Shane didn’t care about the money as much as keeping the company alive for the 5th and 6th Generation of McMahons. Shane wants control of Raw. Vince is willing to give him that. IF he can beat Undertaker in Hell in a Cell (at Wrestlemania). Did anyone bother to ask the Dead Man if he wanted this?

Raw ran the promo for Wrestlemania in Arlington (no it is NOT in Dallas…not even Dallas County), Texas. The Hall of Fame ceremony is in Big D but the Big Show is way cross town.

Stephanie McMahon came out to accept her Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award. Yawn. Time for a quick run to the kitchen.

Stephanie grumbled that her brother, Shane, interrupted her acceptance speech, last week. She was now going to give the speech she had prepared. Stephanie was silenced, for a moment, by “Shane-o Mac” chants. Stephanie started doing her speech but the fans just booed the Hell out of her. You could see her temper rising. “We Want Shane!” echoed off the walls of the arena. Stephanie couldn’t believe how much disrespect the fans were showing her. She tipped over the podium and exploded on the fans for cheering a blackmailer. Stephanie wondered what Shane has been up to for the last seven years. Stephanie knew Shane didn’t care about his family or the fans. Stephanie loves her brother but doesn’t respect him. She accused Shane of stabbing her in the back. Stephanie fought against the age-old concept that the eldest male child would take over the kingdom. Stephanie said Shane was a perfect representation of the fans. Stephanie knew that the fans could not dispute the King and Queen (HHH and Stephanie). Good promo.

Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara y Kalisto) vs League of Nations (Sheamus and Rusev)

Sheamus and Sin opened the match. Sheamus clubbed away on the Luchadore. Springboard Crossbody by Sin for a two. Rusev got taken out but that let Sheamus hit an Irish Curse Backbreaker. Sin Cara ended up on the floor and Rusev threw him into the barricade. Rusev took the tag and worked over Sin Cara. Short Arm Clothesline by Rusev. Rusev put up his car if either of the two men in the ring could Body Slam him. Not sure if that was a legit challenge but it sounded good when JBL mentioned it. Rusev bashed and battered Sin Cara’s neck.

Tag back to Sheamus. The big Irishman stomped away and drew Sin Cara in the ropes. 10 Beats by the Celtic Warrior but he didn’t actually go all the way to 10. Sin Cara began to kick away but got Slammed. 2 count. Keylock by Sheamus to twist up the arm. Sin Cara with an Arm Drag and Tornado DDT. Both men were down.

Tags on both sides. Kalisto rocked Rusev with a hard kick. Rusev missed a Corner Splash. Sprinboard Enziguri and Corkscrew Plancha. Sheamus prevented the pin. Sin Cara took out Sheamus and then King Barrett. Kalisto flew out and dropped Sheamus. Rusev hit a massive Thrust Kick to end this one.

Your Winners: Rusev and Sheamus
Raw Ranking: 2.5

Alberto Del Rio attacked Kalisto, after the match. Alberto would be back, in a bit, to face Dean Ambrose.

Renee Young interviewed Natalya about keeping her look. Nattie was discussing her routine, including drinking tons of water. It ended up being a commercial for Subway’s new sandwich. I do my fair share of Subway, since we have one in the store where I work.

Ryback came out to a chorus of boos.

Ryback vs Adam Rose

Ryback did an insert video about wanting to outshine the rest.

Ryback threw Rose around like a rag doll. Rose went for a kick but Ryback caught he foot. Back Heel Trip by the Big Guy. Ryback Shoulder Tackled Rose. Rose threw hard forearms and kicks. Running Dropkick by the Radical Mongoose. (That one is almost as good as the Vampire Chicken). Backpack Stunner by Ryback. Ryback mounted Adam and just went wild on Adam with vicious shots. The ref had to force Ryback back. Ryback quickly hit he Shell Shocked to end this massacre.

Your Winner: Ryback
Raw Ranking: 1.5

Ryback quickly exited the ring and headed to the back.

The announcers went back to last week to show how Brock Lesnar assaulted Dean Ambrose. Dean cost Brock the shot at the World Title at Wrestlemania. Dean challenged Brock to fight him, at Mania, in a Street Fight.

New Day came out to address Music City.

New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) vs Y2AJ (Chris Jericho and A.J. Styles)
Non-Title Match

New Day cut a promo about how great they are. Kofi said they were Brothers and began to hug each other. Woods said they were the best three man team in history. (oh, I so don’t think so). New Day dissed every tag team that they could think of. When they reached A.J. and Chris, the countdown hit and out came the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time (my opinion). He was soon followed by The Phenomenal One. Before Styles came out, Raw looked back at Smackdown, where Jericho took the bullet to protect Styles.

Chris and Kofi started the match. Kofi dropped Chris with a Shoulder Tackle. Jericho came back with a huge Dropkick. Knife Edge Chops by Jericho. Tag to Styles. They double teamed Kofi. Big E rushed in and got itched out. Jericho and Styles hit Stereo Top Con Hilos. Raw went to break.

New Day went into the Unicorn Stampede on Styles. Woods broke out the trombone and I broke out the aspirin. Two count for Kofi. Arm Bar by Kofi to prevent a tag out. Kof ran Styles into the ropes and then dropped him, face first, onto the apron. New Day mocked Styles before tossing him back in the ring. 2 count. Kofi hit a Scoop Slam and tagged out to Big E. Big Splash but it only drew a 2.

Styles flipped out of a Suplex and nailed the Pele. Both men were down and stunned. Styles dove to his corner for a tag. Kofi was also now legal. Shoulder Tackle by Chris. Ax Bomber by Y2J. Running Enziguri into the Bulldog by Chris. Springboard Dropkick to Woods. Kofi tried for the Sneak Roll Up but it failed. Kofi went for a Dropkick but Chris held the ropes. Lionsault but Big E stopped the pin. Springboard Flying Forearm to Big e. Walls of Jericho and Kofi tapped out.

Your Winners: Chris Jericho and A.J. Styles
Raw Ranking: 3.25

Styles took the stick and informed the champs that Y2AJ were now at the top of the list to challenge for the tag straps. Chris mentioned how they were the new big thing. Jericho issued a challenge for the tag belts, next week, on Raw.

That doofus, Chrisley, guy was at ringside. I so hate that stupid show. I thought Honey Boo Boo was annoying.

Anyway, Lilian Garcia introduced Vince McMahon. Vince was offended at the luke-warm reception that he got. Vince explained how things would change, if Shane were to win at Wrestlemania. Vince didn’t believe in miracles and that meant he needed to teach Shane a lesson that Shane-o would never forget. Vince mentioned The Undertaker, which led to the Dead Man’s arrival.

Vince looked a bit nervous as Taker got near him. Taker grabbed Vince as McMahon claimed ownership of the Dead Man. Taker warned Vince “The Blood of your son will be on your hands…not mine”. Taker then left the ring. Short, Sweet and to the Point. Vince drank a little water and then decided to continue. Vince stumbled over his own words. Vince knew Shane was going to fail as a son and as a competitor. Vince said Shane would be written out of the will and everything will go to Stephanie. Vince renounced Shane McMahon as his son. Shane would now be just a Son of a B*tch. Wow! That was severely harsh. The writers are really pushing things way too far. The whole Reid Flair thing wasn’t bad enough, now Vince rejects his own son?

Raw looked at how the Dudleys turned heel, recently. They were tagging up with the Usos. After the match, Jimmy and Jey got put through tables.

Jey Uso (w/Jimmy Uso) vs Bubba Ray Dudley (w/D’Von Dudley)

Jey opened up with a Running Dropkick and wild punches. Shoulders by Jey. Bubba came back with a Running Clothesline. The two traded hard punches. Bubba had to cover up as Jey unloaded. Bubba clubbed the back of the head but it had minimal effect. Kick by Bubba but he ate a Superkick. D’Von pulled a table out from under the ring and smashed Jimmy with it. Bubba took advantage of the distraction to hit a Bubba Bomb.

Your Winner: Bubba Ray Dudley
Raw Ranking: 1.5

Goldust came up to talk to R-Truth. Truth didn’t want anything to do with Goldy. Truth didn’t need a partner…didn’t want a partner…wouldn’t do a partnership. Truth did not want any part of the silliness. Goldy looked ready to cry as he walked away. Truth then felt bad for how he treated Goldust.

Kevin Owens vs The Big Show
Non-Title Match

Big Show went right to work on Kevin’s ribs. Spear by Show and KO rolled out to the floor. Kevin dropped Show into the corner, outside. The ref started to count. Show stared back in but Kevin hit the Tornado DDT, off the apron. The ref started the count, again. Show still made it back in. Backsplash Senton by Owens. Kevin then headed to the corner. Show caught him. Kevin pulled Kevin off the ropes and Kevin straddled the top rope. The ref started to count.

Your Winner (by Count Out): The Big Show
Raw Ranking: 1.25

Brie Bella was interviewed. She will be fighting Naomi, in a few minutes. Brie wasn’t ashamed of her performance against Charlotte. She started to talk about her family but Lana came in and taunted her. Lana made fun of Brie’s size and Daniel’s size. Lana said Brie’s marriage was doomed to fail. Brie talked trash even better than Lana did.

Brie Bella vs Naomi (w/Tamina)

Collar and Elbow and the girls went to the ropes. Naomi used the hair to keep control. Naomi Kneed Brie. Naomi then worked over the arm. Rope Flip and Fireman’s Carry by Brie. Arm Bar by Brie. Naomi tried a Kip Up but didn’t get all of it. The two fought over the ropes. Tamina pulled Brie down. Naomi then nailed a Basement Dropkick. Brie fought up onto the apron and back into the ring. Naomi put Brie down but couldn’t keep her down. Bow and Arrow by Naomi. Brie got up and tried to escape Naomi. Corner Bulldog by Naomi. Brie moved out of the way of the Split Legged Moonsault. Naomi kicked Brie, over and over. Brie hit a Thrust Kick to rock Naomi. Danielson Kicks to Naomi led to a Dropkick. Brie Mode (Knee Trembler). Tamina got taken out. Naomi went for her new submission move and Brie tapped out. Call that one the KnightFall.

Your Winner (By Submission): Naomi
Raw Ranking: 2.0

Lana came out, after the match. Lana chuckled at Brie’s misfortune.

It was time to announce who was going into the Hall of Fame. As I broke earlier today, The Freebirds are finally getting their place of honor. They did actually work in the WWF, under the management of Cyndi Lauper!

Becky and Sasha argued about who should get Charlotte. Charlotte and Ric walked in and let the Divas know there would be a rematch, on Smackdown. The winner of that contest would face Charlotte at Mania.

Dean Ambrose vs Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio threw Dean into the corner and went off with kicks. Snap Suplex to work over Dean’s hurt ribs. Del Rio tossed Dean into the barricade, as they went to the floor. The rest of the League of Nations members cheered on their partner. Dean struggled to get to his feet. The ref was up to 8 when Dean slid in. Corner Shoulders by Del Rio. Snap DDT by Del Rio. Ax Bomber by Del Rio brought a two count. Del Rio locked in a modified Bow and Arrow. Cross Armbreaker, over the ropes, by Alberto.

Dean came back and hit a Swinging Neckbreaker. Flying Arm Bar and Dropkick by ADR. 2 count, once again. Rusev called Del Rio “The Man” Dean ended up in the Sullivan Tree of Woe but he arched up and tossed Del Rio off the top rope. Back Elbow and boots by Dean. Back Stabber by Del Rio. Dean rolled out to the floor. The fight went out to the floor. Double Stomp to the ribs, off the ring barricade. JBL screamed at how foolish Dean has been. Dean crawled back towards the ring. Dean slid in at 9.

Del Rio bashed Dean and then showed a sign of dominance. Del Rio called for the Cross Armbreaker. Dean revered it. Rebound Clothesline by Dean. Dean exploded with punches and chops. Dean ran over Del Rio. Corner Splash Bulldog by Dean. 2 count.

Dean inched over to the apron. He used the ropes to climb. Del Rio slipped on the ropes but recovered. Headbutts by Dean to Del Rio. Dean missed the Missile Dropkick, partially. Del Rio kicked out at two. Dean charged and hit he ring post. Step Up Enziguri by Del Rio. Skidmark missed and Del Rio hit the floor. Dean headed up top and flew off with the Standing Savage Elbow. He took out all four men.

Suddenly, Triple H’s music hit.

HHH removed his tie and started down the ramp. HHH called for all four Leaguers to attack.

Your Winner (by Disqualification): Dean Ambrose
Raw Ranking: 2.0

Barrett. Rusev, Sheamus and Del Rio just annihilated The Lunatic Fringe. HHH then asked the four men to leave the ring. He stalked the downed Dean Ambrose. HHH asked Dean when he would learn that he will never beat the Authority. Dean exploded all over HHH. HHH kicked Dean and planted him with the Pedigree. HHH gave Dean the title match. When?

Dean grabbed the microphone and called to Hunter. He thanked HHH for playing right into his plan. HHH unbuttoned his sleeves and headed back to the ring. HHH pitched Dean out of the ring and then tossed him over the announce table. Byron got taken out by HHH. HHH put Dean on the announce table and punched away. The refs rushed out to try and stop this but they were helpless.

Before I go, I want to say my goodbyes to one of my favorite actors. George Kennedy, best known for the Naked Gun movies, passed away on Sunday. Kennedy starred in so many great movies across all genres. He will be missed.
