ANX got their shot at War Machine’s World Tag Titles, this week. Plus, we had another great Top Prospect Match. This and so much more…at Ring of Honor TV.

First, let me begin by congratulating Moose for being voted Rookie of the Year in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Year-End Awards. Well deserved, young man.

Roll the opening montage!

Frankie Kazarian (w/Chris Sabin) vs Alex Shelley

RoH looked back at how Christopher Daniels got himself suspended. Chris Sabin joined the announce team of Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness.

Sabin got on the apron to distract Shelley. Kaz attacked. Shelley came back and dropped Kaz. He then pitched The Heavy Metal Rebel to the outside. Shelley caught Kaz with a kick to the head, as Kaz went to sail out of the ring. Single Leg Dropkick by Shelley. Shelley spun Kaz’s leg into the ropes and kicked the hamstring. While still trapped, Shelley hit a Dragon Screw Leg Whip to Kaz. Kaz missed an Enziguri. Alex laid out Kaz.

Shelley missed a Corner Splash. Kaz ripped at the hair of Alex. The ref almost got taken out. Kaz popped Shelley and hit the Springboard DDT. Ring of Honor went to break.

Kaz got up in Todd Sinclair’s face. Todd pushed him and Shelley almost got pinned. Kaz sent Alex onto the ropes and stood on his back. Steve Corino got on the phone. Alex popped Kaz. Steve was done talking about B.J. Whitmer. Steve said he would be there, next week, to get it on with Whitmer. This is all about the assault on Colby Corino.

In the ring, Kaz was taking out Alex. Kaz went up top but missed the Top Rope Legdrop. Alex began to psych up. Alex went wild on Kaz with shots. Enziguri by Alex into a La Bandera Clothesline. Kaz fell into the streamers. Alex dodged Kaz’s Leg Sweep and hit a Flying Knee Strike. Alex put Kaz back in the ring. Crossbody but Kaz rolled through. Kaz held the tights but couldn’t’ get the three. Spinning Neckbreaker by Kaz. Alex fought out of the STO. Alex flew off the ropes and got hit with a Cutter. Sister Abigail Variation by Kaz but Alex still kicked out. Alex pushed out of an Unprettier and dropped Kaz into the corner.

Alex inched up top and got ready to fly. Kaz caught him and set for a Superplex. Alex used a Headbutt to send Kaz down. Frog Splash bet the knees. Kaz reached out and got the bell ringer’s hammer. Kaz dropped the hammer and Alex picked it up. He tossed it to Sabin. Sliced Bread #2!

Your Winner: Alex Shelley
Honor Roll Ranking: 3.5 out of a possible 5

Joey “Diesel” Daddiego (w/Truth Martini) vs Dalton Castle (w/ The Boys)

RoH looked back at how Donovan Dijak got ousted by the House of Truth. Truth asked for a microphone. Truth said the Boys needed a “Daddi” as in “Daddiego”. No Code of Honor Handshake.

Kevin talked about Joey’s Golden Gloves career. Daddiego took Castle to the corner with the Collar and Elbow hold. Castle came out of the corner with a confident swagger. Amateur Takedown by Castle. Catle bounced off the ropes and strutted. Joey got sent off the apron. Truth distracted Castle and Joey shook the ropes. Truth-a-Rooni! He then Moonwalked backwards. The Boys held the ropes open and Truth tumbled out backwards. Joey threw Dalton into the ropes and came off the ropes to stomp the back. World’s Strongest Slam by Joey but Castle kicked out at two.

Joey wrapped up the legs and arms but couldn’t’ hold Castle in place. Hard Whip by Castle. Flying Knee into the corner. Castle put Joey on the top turnbuckle and hit a Flying Knee, from the apron. Joey rushed in and fell to the Bang-a-Rang.

Your Winner: Dalton Castle
Honor Roll Ranking: 3.0

Silas Young came out and said The Boys were named Brent and Brendon. Beer City Bruiser snuck up and held the Boys as Silas attacked Dalton. Misery! Silas gave Brent and Brendon the choice: Learn to be a man or continue to be boys. Brent and Brendon considered their options…and then took the fight to BcB and Silas. Bruiser just annihilated the Boys. Brent and Brendon were thrown out of the ring. Dalton got back up and went after Silas and Bruiser. The duo just destroyed Dalton Castle.

Supercard of Honor will happen during the Wrestlecon event in Dallas. They will also be doing a TV Taping, Saturday night. You just might see me at one or both events. As I mentioned, on Monday, I will be a Wrestlecon. Got my ride all secured, just this week. The RoH show, back in 2014, in New Orleans was epic. Can’t wait to see the shows.

Leo St. Giovanni vs Action Ortiz
Top Prospect Tournament, Round 1

Ortiz looked like Bam Bam Bigelow and Konnan had a child. Ortiz was trained by Tommy Dreamer. Code of Honor Handshake.

Collar and Elbow and Ortiz went for a Dropkick. He missed as Leo held the ropes. LsG hit a Splash and went to fly. Ortiz clocked LsG. Ortiz dropped Leo with a Flying Clothesline. 2 count. Ortiz headed up top. He missed the Frog Splash from Hell. Leo and Ortiz threw bombs at each other. Leo hit many more shots than Ortiz did. Ortiz blocked a Whip, sent Leo to the corner and Splashed. Leo landed on his feet but couldn’t do much. Front Rolling Clothesline got Leo a two count. Ortiz went to the floor. Corkscrew Plancha by Leo. I like both of these kids. Leo pushed Ortiz in and flew off the top. Roaring elbow by Leo. Leo wanted a Butterfly Suplex but Ortiz took out Leo with the Kill Screen (An Inverted Back Suplex/Cutter).

Your Winner: Action Ortiz
Honor Roll Ranking: 3.25

Kevin Kelly did an interview with Stokely Hathaway. Stokely threw out a challenge to Kazuchika Okada to fight Moose at the 14th Anniversary Show. Wow!

RoH showed how the All Night Express earned the title shot by beating the Briscoes and Young Bucks.

Kenny King and Rhett Titus (ANX) vs Hanson and Raymond Rowe (War Machine)
World Tag Team Title Match

War Machine takes me way back, even past the Road Warriors, to Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen. Bobby Cruise did the introductions.

Rhett and Hanson opened this one. Hanson dropped Titus with a hard Shoulder. Rhett hit a Mr. Wrestling II Kneelift. Double Team by ANX. Hanson Cartwheeled between ANX and took them down with Clotheslines. Tag to Rowe. Double Team by the champs. Wild Forearm off the Whip by Rowe. Knife Edge Chop and Whip to King, who was now legal. King dodged a Corner Rush. King popped the arm over the top rope. Double team when Rhett tagged in. Massive Double Team but it only brought a two. King tagged back in and tried for a Powerbomb. Hanson pulled King off the ropes. Aces-10 Now by Rowe. Scoop Slam to King. He then slammed Hanson down onto King. Hanson Powerbombed Rowe onto King. RoH had time for one more break.

King blasted both champs to get out of the enemy corner. War Machine hit Path of Resistance. Rhett nailed a Dropkick. Low Bridge and Hanson flew outside. Rhett dove over the top and Rowe caught him. Fallaway Slam…on the floor. King and Hanson fought it out as the ref started to count. King and Titus were both thrown into the barricades. Neither team cared about getting back into the ring. Back Drop, on the floor. The ref was at 19 when they teams sent representatives in to restart the count. La Bandera and Suicide Dive by Hanson. King and Rowe kept slugging it out. Knee Strike by Rowe laid out King.

Rowe pitched King back in the ring. The fans screamed for tables. King escaped Fallout. The ref got taken out. King seemed to pull Paul Turner into harm’s way. Rhett went under the ring to find…a table. Rhett slid it back in the ring. King set up the table, in the corner. Rowe kicked out of a double team. Rowe used a Uranage to send King through the table. Paul woke up and saw it, calling for the bell.

Your Winners (by Disqualification): All-Night Express
Honor Roll Ranking: 3.0

All Hell broke loose, after the match. Security, refs, staff and a few others just got blasted by the four men. Fade out.
