Tommaso Ciampa made his return to RoH after his suspension. Also, The Kingdom took on the Briscoe Brothers.

The “Creating Excellence” video opened the show. Then The Kingdom was profiled. Michael Bennett failed in his attempt to win the World Title but it helped bring in Matt Taven into the fold.

Roll the regular Opening Montage.

Nigel McGuinness joined Kevin Kelly at the announce table. They announced that Michael Elgin would finally break his silence after losing the World Title.

Cedric Alexander vs Tommaso Ciampa

Cedric nailed a Dropkick to send Ciampa off the apron. Flip Dive by Ceddy. Dang. Cedric with the Overtime Frog Splash for an early 2. Cedric chopped away and punched but Ciampa got a slap in. Ciampa slid out to the floor to avoid a Clothesline. Cedric went out and threw Ciampa into the ring barrier, several times. Cedric threw Cedric into the barrier and went in and out to reset the count. Running Knee Trembler by Ciampa. Cedric ran Ciampa’s back into the ring post. Springboard Clothesline by Alexander. Corner Dropkick by Cedric. On the 2nd one, Ciampa dumped Cedric up and over the top and Cedric landed badly.

Ciampa kicked Cedric in the back of the head and then stomped Cedric’s head repeatedly. Open Hand Slap by Ciampa led to a Running Knee, in the corner. Ciampa draped Cedric over the bottom rope and hit another Knee Trembler. 1-2-no. Cedric punched the ribs of Ciampa but Tommaso drove his elbow into Cedric’s neck, over and over. Cedric turned out of the Rear Chin Lock and went for the Step Up 540. He missed. Ciampa pulled Cedric off the ropes. Running Bare Knee by Ciampa. The fans yelled “one more time”. They got a Step Up 540 by Cedric, off the ropes. Cedric went for the Three Amigos but Ciampa blocked the final Suplex. Michinoku Driver by Cedric to bring in a two count. Forearm Smashes from both sides. Ciampa dodged Kick to Kill Part 2 and took a Knockout Knee. Kick to Kill Part 2 did land on the 2nd attempt but Cedric only got a two count.

Cedric went up top but had to jump off. 540 Kick but Ciampa hit a wicked Lariat. Could be…might be…Denied. Ciampa got up in the ref’s face. Cedric accidentally Dropkicked Todd Sinclair, the ref. Ciampa then took the tag rope and used it to choke out Cedric. Nigel saw it all, even though the ref didn’t. Todd Sinclair initially awarded the match to Ciampa but Nigel came in and had the ref check Ciampa. The ref found the tag rope and reversed the decision.

Ciampa went out and got a steel chair. He blasted the back of Cedric and then used a Brainbuster to drive Cedric into the seat of the chair. Ciampa screamed at Nigel “You did this!” Ciampa grabbed the microphone and said “Nigel screwed Nigel”.

Truth Martini and Jay Lethal cut a promo on ACH. ACH was supposed to face Jay Lethal, a few weeks back. Unfortunately, travel issues kept ACH away from the venue. Next week, ACH gets his shot at Lethal’s TV title.

The new tag team “Worst Case Scenario” made their RoH debut. Elijah Evans IV and Ethan Case (Hard to catch Ethan’s surname due to crowd cheers)

Worst Case Scenario vs R.D. Evans and Moose

Prince Nana had replaced Nigel at the announce table. Veda Scott wasn’t with her team, this week (Darn). Ramone was their second in this match. Nana loved Moose but didn’t care for Evans. Evans stole The Embassy from Nana, a long time ago. Evans got a “Streak” chant going. Nigel joined the announce team, after finishing up the issue with Ciampa. Code of Honor Handshake.

Elijah Pie Faced Moose and tried for Shoulder Tackles. Moose rocked him with an amazing Dropkick. Ethan tagged in and threw hard Forearms. Back Body Drop by Moose. Tag to Evans. Small Package by Evans. Nana left the booth to go talk to Moose. Ethan nailed a Zig Zag on Evans. Tag to Elijah. Double Back Whip. Flying Kitchen Sink Double Team to get WCS a 2 count. Scoop Slam by Elijah into a Backsplash Senton. Nana talked with Ramone. Tag back to Ethan. Evans with a Double Slop Drop. Moose got the tag and Shoulder Blocked both opponents. Corner Splashes on both foes. Moose whipped Ethan into Elijah and Corner Splashed both men. He then flew off the top to Crossbody both men. Tag to Evans. Ethan pushed Evans off the top. Moose accidentally Speared Evans and then got Low Bridged to the floor. Nice Double Team Lift Punch combo but Moose saved the day. Case with Forearms but Moose shook it off with a Lift Knee and Spear! Moose put Evans on his shoulder. Benoit Diving Headbutt from Moose’s shoulders.

Kevin Kelly was in the ring to interview “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin. Interestingly, Elgin got a mixed reaction from the fans. Kevin noticed that Elgin seemed disheveled. Kevin was obviously uncomfortable with Elgin. Elgin was ready to start a new chapter in his life. Elgin said he was not comfortable doing the “Corporate Thing”. He draped his suit jacket onto Kevin. Kelly left the ring. Elgin said he was sorry that he hasn’t been himself. He refused to do what RoH wanted. Elgin was threatened that if he didn’t show today, things would get messy. Elgin warned “When you pray for the rain, you have to deal with the mud”. Huh? Elgin then strolled to the back.

Before we get into the Tag Team main event, I want to send a shout out to a couple of friends of mine. The Reno Scum (Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstowe) were both recently acknowledged in the PWI 500. I have had the honor of working with these two outstanding gentlemen and it does my heart good to see them get the recognition that they so truly deserve.

Michael Bennett and Matt Taven (The Kingdom) vs The Briscoe Brothers
Congrats to Maria and Michael. They recently tied the knot, as Kevin Kelly mentioned on the show. Jay nearly got into it with Adam Cole, who was at ringside. The fight started on the floor. Jay sent Matt into the barricade. Michael whipped Mark into the corner but Briscoe came back with a Clothesline and Dropkick. The fight went back out onto the floor. Jay was rushed into the barricade. Both Briscoes were thrown into the barricade. Scoop Slam, on the floor, to plant jay. Michael rocked Mark with a Dropkick and a series of punches. Mark moved a table to Suplex Michael onto the table. Bennett blocked it, twice. Jay flipped Matt up and over the table. Mark with a Sweet Blockbuster, off the apron. Superkick by Bennett into the Box Office Smash (Side Effect) on Jay, in the ring. Bennett with a Spear, on the apron. RoH took a final break.

The Kingdom double teamed Mark as the show returned. Mark fought back against Matt. Taven with a Springboard Crescent Kick. Bennett tagged in and got a two count on Mark. ScoopSlam on Briscoe. Matt Hardy-like Legdrop by Bennett. Taen tagged in and blasted away. The Time Splitters will be returning to RoH, soon, to battle ReDRagon for the tag straps. Double team on Mark. Small Package by Mark got a two but Michael came back with a hard Clothesline. Tag to Taven. Mark blocked the Twist of Fate and pushed Bennett into Taven’. Exploder Suplex to Bennett and tag to Jay. Jay went wild on both Kingdom members. Straight Jabs and a Headbutt to Bennett. Jay blocked the Twist of Fate and nailed a Falcon Arrow. Ratchet Neckbreaker by Jay to Matt. Tag to Mark. Flying Leg Lariar, off the ropes, by Mark. Redneck Kung Fu by Mark onto Matt. Taven got a boot up. Mark went up top but Bennett pushed him off the top. Jay then beat the daylights out of Bennett, until Taven flew out of the ring. Superkick/Spear combo on Mark but they couldn’t seal the deal. Bennett eye was busted open. Mark avoided the Doomsday Device and Jay planted Matt Taven with the Jay Driller. Mark made the cover.

After the match, Adam Cole got involved but it backfired on the former World Champ. Maria pushed Mark off the top and he fell through a table. Triple Team on Jay Briscoe. Security rushed out to try and protect Jay. The Kingdom brutalized security. Twist of Fate to Jay, by Bennett. The Kingdom stood tall.
