The WWE Network is available starting today on an over the top basis in 170 countries around the world. The international roll out comes earlier than expected and was announced at the last WWE earnings call.

Also, starting this week, fans will be able to sign up for a monthly plan of $12.99 with no commitment and the ability to cancel at any time. Previously that price was $19.99. The $9.99 price with a six month commitment remains available, and is the price touted by WWE announcers during WWE programming.

WWE also announced that starting this week, the Network will begin to be available on Sony internet connected TVs, Blu Ray disc players, Blu Ray Home Theater systems as well as Samsung Smart TV, Blu Ray players and Home Theater systems.

The timing of the international launch gives WWE a much needed boost as they try to reach their goal of 1million subscribers by year end.
