As the Elimination Chamber train pulls into the station, Randy Orton had one last obstacle to deal with…a huge angry Irishman named Sheamus. Plus, the other top contenders for Randy’s title all saw action.
John Cena came out to open the show. As usual, he got the typical mixed reaction from the crowd. Tonight’s show was in the Mile High City of Denver. Beautiful city but one of the most chaotic airports that I’ve ever dealt with.
Cena with the Foley Pop for Denver. He said the energy was there. John said they would all risk sacrifice to get to Batista at Wrestlemania 30. John then talked about momentum and how the “thumb sucking baby” (Randy Orton) didn’t have any. Cena knew that the odds were against Randy Orton.
Cesaro (yes, he’s using just one name now) came out with Zeb Colter. Both were confident that Cesaro would be the next champion. Cesaro said he would become not only the new face of WWE but the face of America, as well. Cena told Cesaro to come to him. He congratulated Cesaro for beating Orton, on Smackdown. Bray said he had a childlike enthusiasm building in him. He went all cryptic as he asked if it was all worth it for The Shield. Luke wanted to know if they were willing to die for this. If they weren’t, they had already lost. Roman invited the Wyatts to come out to the ring. Bray said they were thinking the exact same thing.
