This is so very hard to write. Scott, a young 64 years old, was killed in an auto accident early this morning.

Scott and I were friends since the late seventies. I met him, of course, through the business. At that time he was married to Bodybuilder Dan Lurie’s daughter (Lurie passed away just over a month ago). We became personal friends and spent lots of time on the road and at various events he promoted.

The last time I saw Scott was on November 9th at the Big Event in Flushing, New York. He was his usual, bubbly, always looking for a deal self. We spoke about some of his upcoming projects. Scott was someone we all thought would always be around. I’m glad I got to see him and give him our usual guy hugs.

Rest in peace old friend. I will certainly miss you.

My condolences Bill, to both you and Mr. Epstein’s family. A true friend is a blessing and difficult to find. I hope you can take solace in the fact you had him the time you did.
