Twenty-nine years ago today on this date: The Fabulous Ones (Stan Lane and Steve
Keirn) defeated Rick Rude and King Kong Bundy to win the Southern tag-team title
in Memphis, Tenn.

Forty-nine years ago today on this date: Art Nelson and The Red Raider (Bobby
Graham) defeated Dory Funk Jr. and Don Curtis in Amarillo, Texas.

Thirty-nine years ago today on this date: Ric Flair and Rip Hawk defeated Danny
Miller and Swede Hanson in Raleigh, N.C.
