WHAT HAPPENED, THIS WEEK, @ WWE RAW

Posted June 25th, 2013 by jshannon

More pieces of the Money in the Bank puzzle fell into place. Plus, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan went at each other, one more time.

I want to begin by thanking everyone that came out to New England Pro Wrestling’s Fan Fest 3. From what I’ve heard, everyone had a good time. Maybe I’ll get to join you all at Fan Fest 4.

The show opened with a look back at C.M. Punk’s return. Punk asked Paul Heyman to stay in the back. After his match, Punk was attacked by Brock Lesnar. From there, Raw looked at Mark Henry’s “retirement speech” and attack on John Cena.

Welcome to Charleston, SC. Daniel Bryan came out to open the live show.

Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton

Daniel took the microphone but waited to soak up the love of his fans. Daniel said people thought he had some kind of complex. People accused Daniel of being struck with the “Little Man Syndrome”. Daniel said he was not an extra in The Hobbit (too funny). People may call Daniel a “Weak Link” but those people are morons. Daniel talked about his battles with Randy Orton. Daniel said he would not be satisfied until he beat Randy or made Orton tap out. Daniel was confident that he was going to do that, tonight.

Randy came out and stopped Daniel from talking. Randy told Daniel “Shut up and Fight!” I like it. Randy took a shot at Daniel. The refs kept the two men apart but only for a second. The two tore into each other with punches and kicks. Randy threw Daniel to the outside and laid him out with a nasty Clothesline. The two ended up fighting around the announce table. Charles Robinson called for the bell as this was totally out of control.
