Raw headed to England, this week. The Undertaker, Kane and Daniel Bryan will battle Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Plus, more pieces of the Extreme Rules puzzle were placed.
England is one of the places on my “to go to” list. I have one of the dearest friends in the world who lives in Leeds, England. Lady Jane has been a part of my life for a dozen years. Let’s get down to the wild action…
The crowd at the O2 was incredibly rowdy. The show opened with a look back, 2 weeks ago, when The Shield decided to pick a fight with The Undertaker. Taker had back up with his brother, Kane, and Daniel Bryan. Plus, John Cena and Ryback are at each other’s throats. What wildness would happen, this night? Last week, Ryback stood by and watched The Shield destroy John Cena.
Paul Heyman was standing in the middle of the ring. The crowd booed the daylights out of Heyman. He was there, representing Brock Lesnar. Heyman brought out how Lesnar dismantled 3MB, last week. Heyman reminded everyone that Lesnar has a challenge on the table. Heyman sent it to a video replay of the Lesnar massacre.
Back to tonight. Heyman cackled as he anticipated the answer from Triple H. Heyman said HHH was not at Raw, this evening. Heyman was also disappointed that HHH was not present. Heyman read an e-mail that he got from HHH. HHH said he would give his answer to the challenge, next week. Heyman grumbled about HHH being a gutless coward that didn’t want to face him…
Oh, Crap! HHH’s music exploded and Paul turned a whiter shade of pale. HHH slowly stalked the “Walrus”. It was a definite “Brown Alert” for Mr. Heyman. HHH did the waterfall thing. Herman tried to back step and smooch up to The Game. Heyman applauded HHH for “Getting Him”. HHH admitted the e-mail was a lie. HHH accepted the Steel Cage challenge and then planted Heyman was a Pedigree! HHH walked around Heyman as the crowd showed their love to the Cerebral Assassin. The announcers were happy that Heyman got laid out.
R-Truth bounced down the ramp, rapping his theme. He really got the crowd into the tune, including Michael Cole. Antonio then came out doing his gawd-awful yodel crap.
R-Truth vs Antonio Cesaro
Truth tried to open up but Cesaro went to town with a Whip and European Uppercut to the back of Truth’s head. Short Arm Clothesline by Cesaro. Kitchen Sink by Cesaro as Ole! Ole! Broke out. 2 count. Rear Chin Lock by Cesaro. Truth drew off the crowd and got to his feet. Spin Around Roll UP into a series of Clotheslines. He missed the Ax Kick but hit a hard fist and Face Drop Suplex for two. Cole talked about the guys going to Poland. Facing the Truth by R-Truth for the win.

Cody Rhodes was at the side of his best friend. Go Behind into the Side Headlock by Sandow. Clay mobbed them to the corner. Sandow with hard punches and kicks. Clay with a hard Clothesline and Headbutts to the back. Scoop Slam and Elbow Drop by Clay. Clay ran Sandow into the corner. Clay clubbed Sandow’s back. Uppercut by Clay into another Scoop Slam attempt. Sandow slid out and hit a Slop Drop. Knee Strikes by Sandow. He followed it up with the Elbow of Distain. 2 count. Rear Chin Lock by Sandow. Clay fought to his feet but took a Dropkick to the knee. Modified Front Face Lock by Sandow. Clay took them to the corner and unloaded. Whip into a huge Corner Splash. Trapped Leg T-Bone Suplex by Clay. Cody distracted Clay. Sandow snapped Clay’s neck on the ropes and then pinned Clay with a Roll Up. Sandow did have a handful of tights.

Michael Cole brought up the change of World title holders. Dolph Ziggler cashe din his Money in the Bank to defeat an injured Alberto Del Rio. Dolph will battle Chris Jericho, later in the night. It was announced tat Dolph would battle both Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger, in a Triple Threat match, at Extreme Rules.
Dolph admired his title belt. Dolph suggested that A.J. might want to get her own title. As they talked, A.J. asked Big E to find somewhere else to be. They played kissy face until Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero showed up. Vickie said if Dolph were to lose to Jericho, tonight, the match at Extreme Rules would be converted to a Fatal Four Way battle.
John Cena did a promo for Make-a-Wish. Kids are the most special and precious of people. Doing something memorable for an ill child is something that can’t be equaled.
The announce team looked back at C.M. Punk’s bizarre walk out on last week’s Raw. He was talking about fighting the Undertaker and then suddenly just went silent, hugged Heyman and left. Michael Cole said no one has been able to reach C.M. Punk.
The Shield came on the screen to do another promo. They talked about Undertaker and his style of dealing out justice. The Shield felt they would be able to take out Undertaker. Dean said The Shield was the new Law in the WWE. Seth said they would own the night. Dean said Undertaker would learn the taste of Justice. Roman told everyone to believe in The Shield.
Chris Jericho’s music echoed off the walls and the ultra cool lighted jacket flashed.
Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler
Raw showed how Jericho defeated Ziggler, last month. Dolph came out with A.J. and Big E Langston. Collar and Elbow into a Jericho Arm Drag. School Boy by Jericho. 2 count. Side Headlock into a Takeover by Jericho. Dolph got to his feet and applied a Top Wristlock. Jericho had to Bridge Up to avoid being pinned. Side Headlock Takeover. Dolph with a Head Scissors but Jericho escaped and nailed a Dropkick. Universal into Dolph sliding out of the ring to smooch A.J.. Jericho with a Baseball Slide Dropkick. Raw went to break.
Big E got a cheap shot in on Jericho. Funk Neckbreaker by Dolph. 1-2-no. Dolph stomped the head and chest of Jericho. Dolph pulled on Jericho’s neck. Jumping Elbow Drop by Dolph. Knife Edge Chops by Jericho. Jericho missed a Corner Splash. Jericho flew over the top rope and took out a techie.
Dolph went out and got Dolph. He threw Jericho back in the ring and got a two count. Dolph danced around ala the Ali Shuffle. Dolph with a hard kick. Jericho blocked the Funk Neckbreaker and caught Dolph in a Backslide. 2 count only. Dolph with a Dropkick. Stand Over Rear Chin Lock by Dolph. Jericho punched free but Dolph clamped on The Sleeper. Jericho refused to submit. Back Drop Suplex by Jericho. Dolph missed a Corner Splash. Choulder Takles by Jericho. Jericho went to the top and hit a variation of the Ax Bomber. Flying Forearm by Jericho. Jricho wanted the Walls of Jericho but Dolph countered. Step Up Enziguri, by Jericho, for two. Knife Edge Chop and Whip by Jericho. Dolph reversed it. Bulldog by Jericho. Jericho went for the Lionsault but Big E popped Y2J in the face. 2 count. Dolph kicked and clubbed Jericho. The ref pushed Dolph back. Dolph with a Clothesline into a pin. That was sloppy. Jericho found himself in another Sleeper. Dolph was riding the back. Jericho went down to his knee but got back up. Samoan Drop-like move to counter the Sleeper. Jericho with a whip. Flying DDT by Dolph for two. The ref started counting down both men. The Wave started.
Back Elbow by Jericho. Lionsault but Dolph got the knees up. Zig Zag for a two. Dolph couldn’t believe that it wasn’t a 3. Jericho blocked a Dropkick but Dolph stopped the Walls. Dolph went to the top but Jericho hit the ropes. Jericho punched away and nailed the Superplex. Jericho took too long to make the cover and only got a two. Code Breaker! Dolph got his foot on the bottom rope, just in time. Jericho took out Big E and then trapped Dolph in the Walls of Jericho.
Out of nowhere, Fandango’s music erupted. The fans started to sing along as Dolph got to the ropes. Dolph kicked the knee and hit the Zig Zag. 1-2-3. Fandango didn’t actually come out.

The announcers wondered where Fandango was. Cole sent it to a flashback video where John Cena was getting in Ryback’s face. Suddenly, The Shield showed up to make trouble for Cena. Ryback sat and watched the assault on the WWE Champ.
John Cena will face Ryback at Extreme Rules. The WWE title will be on the line.
Josh Mathews interviewed Mick Foley. Typical Foley Pop. Josh asked Mick how things had changed in the WWE. Foley got all philosophical as he verbally went off on Ryback.
Speaking of Mick Foley, I hope to have a major announcement regarding the Hardcore Legend in the near future.
Raw showed The Eye, such a cool Ferris Wheel.
Cody Rhodes vs Sweet T, Tensai
T didn’t look in the mood for dancing. Clay and Damien were in the corners of their respective partners. T got blasted by short shots by Cody. Thrust by T into a Butterfly Stall Suplex. He held him up there for what seemed like forever. 2 count. Whip by T but Goldustin Uppercut into a Funk Neckbreaker took down the big man. Front Face Lock by Cody. The Funkadactyls cheered their champ. Jawbreaker into the Disaster Kick to the back of the head. 1-2-not yet.
Cody stomped away but couldn’t get the three count. Front Face Lock by Cody. T got up and punched away. Cody with a Dropkick but T didn’t drop. Cody rushed in and hit the Post. Hard punched by T. Elbow Drop by T for a two count. Knuckle Lock Monkey Flip by Sweet T. Rolling Senton into the corner by Sweet T. Sandow distracted T but Clay took out Damien. Clutch Bomb by Sweet T into the Backsplash Senton. Count to 100.

Kane and Daniel Bryan wer in the locker room. Daniel wondered if Taker was there yet. Daniel wanted to go over strategy. Kane said don’t worry about the Brothers of Destruction. Daniel Bryan was worried about being ready for The Shield. Kane reminded Daniel that Undertaker doesn’t take orders. Kane didn’t want Daniel to show diagrams to the Undertaker and, for darn sure, don’t try to hug the Undertaker. Suddenly, The Shield came in and attacked the tag champs.
It has been a sad day in the world of music. Music pioneer, Richie Havens, passed away. Also, the lead singer of The Divinyls (Chrissy Amphlett) lost her battle with Breast Cancer. I hope someone uses the line “When I think about you, I touch myself” and turns it into a public service announcement for self-evaluation for Breast Cancer. The “You” could relate to breast cancer.
Michael Cole sent it to the Smackdown Rebound. It looked at the huge Tag Team battle with Randy Orton and Sheamus vs Big Show and Mark Henry. The much larger men destroyed Sheamus and Orton.
Josh interviewed Ryback. Josh asked why Ryback just stood and watched. Ryback wanted to let John know how it feels to be left alone. Ryback said he wanted to discuss the future with Mick Foley. Ryback Rules!
Big E Langston came out to his own theme music. It was time for a singles match for the Bodyguard.
The WWE title turns 50, this week.
Big E Langston vs Zack Ryder
Welcome back to the era of the Squash Match. Back Body Drop by Big E. E with ridiculously hard punches. Zack punched away but Big E caught Zack and hit a series of Clutch Backbreakers. Running Shoulder Thrust, into the corner. Zack with a Missile Dropkick but Big E with an Exploder Clothesline. Big Ending (new name for the Big Finish) to take the easy win.

THE WWE Slam of the Week showed how The Shield interrupted Undertaker’s touching mention that his Wrestlemania match was dedicated to the memory of Paul Bearer. Daniel Bryan and Kane rushed out to help Taker.

Six Man Tag Team Match
Taker’s robe was much simpler than the wild thing he wore at Wrestlemania. Taker slowly made his way to the ring. The announcers paid major respect to the Dead Man. The crowd popped, huge, as Taker removed his hood. JBL was certain that Undertaker would fail if he had to go 1-on-3 with The Shield. Daniel and Kane were laid out, earlier. The Shield’s music hit so it looks like Kane and Daniel might be out of this one. Dean, Seth and Roman came through the crowd. Taker is really starting to show his age. Taker went off on all three men but the beat down started. Kane and Daniel Bryan ht the ring and the fight was on. Team Hell’s Brothers took out The Shield and sent them to the floor. Break time.
Daniel and Dean were ready to officially start this match. The crowd were blasting the walls with chants of “Yes!”. Daniel with hard Kick and a Kitchen Sink. Snap Mare but Daniel into a Surfboard. Tag to Kane. Basement Dropkick to Dean. Kane with hard punches. Kane tagged in Taker and everyone exploded. . Taker with wild shots to the face of Dean. Pull IN Shoulders by Taker. 2 count. Old School by Taker was blocked. Dean with hard punches and a Whip. Taker grabbed the arm and went Old School. He would not be denied. 2 count.
Tag to Kane. “You Still Got It!” rang out. Kane with a whip but Dean with a kick. Tag to Roman. Uppercut by Kane. Kane with stomps, in the corner. Tag to Daniel. Kane whipped Daniel into a Flying Dropkick. 2 count. Tag back to Kane. Kane with an Uppercut and a Scoop Slam. Kane blasted Roman and got a two count. Rear Chin Lock by Roman. The crowd cheered for Undertaker. Kanee with a Whip but Roman with an Uppercut and Flying Forearm.
Seth tagged in and hit a Running Dropkick and Flying Clothesline. Seth choked Kane on the top rope and stomped away. Tag to Dean. Dean stomped the chest of Kane. Solid punches by both men. Knife Edge Chop by Dean. Face Wash Elbow by Dean. Tag to Roman. Shoulder Thrusts by Roman. Solid fist to Kane’s forehead. Rear Chin Lock by Roman. Back Drop Suplex by Kane. Both men were down. Tag to Seth. Seth took an Uppercut, as he flew off the ropes. Tag to Daniel. Daniel with sharp kicks as the crowd chanted along. Flip Over into a Flying Clothesline, by Daniel. Bryan with repeated kicks. 2 plus count.
Seth with a kick to Daniels face. Daniel flipped Seth to the outside and hit a Suicide Dive. Seth was out. Daniel rolled Seth back into the ring. Missile Dropkick by Daniel as “This is Awesome!” rang out. Daniel missed a Corner Dropkick. Raw took another break.
Roman had Daniel in a Side Headlock. Daniel fought free but took an Uppercut. 2 count. Seth took the tag and punched and kicked away. Kane tried to come around to avoid a Triple Team. Hammer Throw by Seth. Seth with a second Hammer Throw. Seth called Undertaker an “old man”. JBl said Taker shortened his career. Seth whipped Daniel to the enemy corner and tagged in Dean. Headbutts by Dean. Punches and Thrusts by Dean. Power Spin Elbow Driver by Dean. Knee Strikes by Dean. Dean locked up Daniel into the Surfboard. Flying Knee by Seth. Tag to Roman. Roman threw Daniel into the corner. Roman missed the Corner Splash. Daniel made the tag to Undertaker.
Taker took out all three members of The Shield. Dean got blasted with Snake Eyes into the Big Boot. Hogan Leg Drop by Taker for a two. Taker called for the Chokeslam. Roman Speared Taker for a two count. Roman couldn’t believe it. Seth came in and punched away. Taker with a Flying Clothesline. Tag to Kane. Kane laid out Seth. Sidewalk Slam by Kane. Kane climbed the ropes and nailed the Kane Klothesline. Seth dodged the Chokeslam and hit a Jumping Enziguri. Dean with the tag but he ended up in the Chokeslam. Tag to Daniel but Roman pulled Daniel off the ropes. Taker attacked. Kane and Seth got involved. Daniel battled Dean, on the ropes. Air Goat missed. Dean with the pin!

The Rock was injured while doing the Rock Bottom at Wrestlemania. He will undergo abdominal surgery, later this week.
Mick Foley was in the back, talking to John Cena. Foley was certain that he knew what he was doing. Cena warned Foley about how dangerous Ryback can be. Foley said Ryback wanted to talk and Foley said he didn’t back down from a challenge. Foley agreed this might be his biggest mistake but it was important to him to do this. Cena agreed but asked Foley to take a steel chair with him.
Fandango’s music got the Brits singing along. Fanny had a new blonde girl with him, this week. She’s absolutely gorgeous. The whole crowd was Fandango-ing. Nearly 17,000 people were singing, in unison.
Fandango vs William Regal
Did a little research on Fandango. Turns out he’s been a pro since 1999. So great to see the British Legend in action. Regal got one of the biggest pops of the night. He got a standing ovation (well deserved!) He should be in the Hall of Fame. I’ll be talking about that in a few days.
Fanny danced around, which seemed to bore Regal. Regal danced, a bit , and then unloaded with Clotheslines. Back Body Drop by Regal. Regal flipped Fanny back into the ring. Ranny with a kick to the ribs and punches. Fanny with a Face Rub. Regal turned things around and punched away. Fanny with a kick to the face. Fandango with his Perfect 10 (Spinning Face Plant) to end this one, way too quickly.

Fanny reminded everyone how to say his name and got the crowd singing, once again.
Jericho came out and attacked Fandango, on the stage. He threw Fandango off the stage and into the orchestra pit. The crowd began chanted for Y2J. Jericho then checked out the cute little blonde. Jericho offered to dance with her. She thought about it and then the two danced. Nice Dip for a remarkable Cleavage Shot.
A video package of Randy Orton aired. It was so Classic. I love it.
A.J. Lee vs Naomi vs Aksana vs Tamina Snuka vs Layla
Divas Battle Royal
The Bellas were disqualified from this match, due to their Twin Magic stunt, last week. The five women just punched and kicked away. Lawla was wearing the Union Jack. Tamina with Superkick to A.J., after A.J. jumped into Tamina’s arms. Layla eliminated Aksana. Layla and Naomi double teamed Tamina. Rear View by both Naomi and Layla. Tamina almost got eliminated. Tamina sent Naomi out of the match. Tamina then lifted Layla but Layla with a series of kick to send Tamina to the floor. Layla thought she had won this one. A.J. was still out cold on the match. Layla tried to lift the carcass of A.J.. Layla lifted A.J. and tried to toss out A.J. Lee woke up and kicked Layla out of the ring.

Michael Cole talked about the new Brodus Clay film. It looks like a good thriller. Clay plays a psycho, or so it seems. Reminds me of See No Evil (which I just picked up on Blu Ray).
Mick Foley and his chair walked backstage.
Mick Foley made his entrance before the Londoners. Terry Funk inducted Foley, which was awesome. Foley even had some fun with Chris Jericho. Foley told the crowd he was not there to get into a confrontation. Foley did the Foley Pop, again. Foley understood that he got himself into a confrontation. Foley had something to say to Ryback. He called out Big Hungry. Ryback got a mixed reaction from the crowd. Ryback wondered how the steel chair would help Foley. Foley was offended, at first, by the steel chair. Foley told Ryback just who he is. Foley said he always got back up when he was beaten down. Foley understood that his time had passed. Foley knew he probably wouldn’t get up from a Ryback beating. Foley wanted to show Ryback some footage. Cena had called out Ryback, last week, but Ryback just walked away. Ryback loved what he did, last week. Foley wanted to know what happened to the old Ryback. Ryback warned Foley that he might end up in a Shell Shocked. Foley said he been laid out his whole career and he didn’t keep count of how many times he was down and out. Foley said he only counted the 3 title runs as WWE Champ. Foley said Ryback will become the champ, some day. Foley said Ryback had all the physical tools to win it all. Foley questioned Ryback’s motives. Foley told Ryback to “Wake Up!” Ryback told Foley to “Shut Up!” Ryback mocked Foley for trying to hang on to his “Glory Days”. Ryback was certain that he knew what he was doing. Ryback sent a message and got his WWE title shot. Ryback was ready to take the title. Ryback pushed the heel button by calling the fans “Stupid”. Ryback poked fun at Foley’s look. Foley took all the crap he was going to take from Ryback and drew back with the chair. Foley got right into Foley’s face. Ryback took the chair and threw it out…
John Cena hit the ring and broke it up. Cena asked Foley to step out. Cena cocked his fists and told Ryback to make his move. The Shield came back for more carnage. Cena stepped onto the apron as Seth, Dean and Roman strolled down to the ringside area. Cena did to Ryback, what Ryback did to him, last week. Cena walked up the ramp as the Dogs of War were unleashed. Cena got back in the ring and took out The Shield with the steel chair. He blasted all three members with the folding chair and then slid back in to face Ryback. The crowd was split in their support of Cena. Cena dropped the chair and got in the face of Ryback. Cena with the Attitude Adjustment to send a serious message tohis challenger.
