C.M. Punk was finally ready to make his first statement since being beaten by The Undertaker, at Wrestlemania. Plus, John Cena wants answers about the attack by Ryback, last Monday night.
The show opened with a flashback to Ryback’s attack. It looked like Ryback was there just to take out Mark Henry. He even helped Cena to his feet. Ryback then nailed the Meat Hook Clothesline and Shell Shocked. Ryback will answer for his actions, later in the night.
Paul Heyman said, last week, that C.M. Punk would discuss his huge loss to Undertaker.
Randy Orton and Sheamus vs Big Show
2-on-1 Handicap Match
Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler were your announce team, this week. Sheamus and Orton both wanted to start against Show. Sheamus got the nod. Collar and Elbow to the corner. Clean Break. Sheamus exploded with punches and kicks. Side Suplex by Big Show. Sidewalk Slam by Sheamus. Sheamus with Shoulder Thrusts and an inverted version of the Rope Crossfaces. Sheamus snapped Show’s neck on the top rope and then nailed the Battering Ram. The Brogue Kick missed. Sheamus was sent to the floor by Show’s hard fist.
Show with a Headbutt as Sheamus got back in. Repeated Open Hand Slaps to Sheamus’ Ivory Chest. Final Cut by Show for a two count. Orton made the save. Sheamus started punching away but Show locked in a Keylock. Sheamus punched his way free and clubbed Show’s neck. Another Sidewalk Slam by Show, for two. Show went for the Vader Bomb but Sheamus with an incredible Electric Chair! Holy Crap! Orton screamed for a tag. Orton came in and kicked away at Show. Show got rocked with hard fists and a Clothesline. Orton dropped Show with a wicked Dropkick. Orton with the Rope Assisted DDT. Orton then snapped and went to his “Special Place”. Show blocked the RKO. Sheamus came in with the Brogue Kick. Orton then laid out Show with the RKO.

Michael Cole brought up 3MB and their foolish intrusion during Triple H’s promo. Suddenly, The Shield came out and attacked 3MB! Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jindar Mahal were interviewed. Heath said they were going to the ring to call out The Shield.
3MB were in the ring, ready to fight. The crowd booed them. Heath said he would not let The Shield steal their thunder. Drew demanded a hand-written apology from The Shield. The Shield didn’t show. However, Brock Lesnar did. Lesnar stomped down to the ring and hopped up on the apron. Lesnar threw Heath over the top rope. Brutal Clothesline to Jindar. F5 to Drew. Lesnar hit the floor and laid out Heath with a Decapitation Clothesline. F5, on the floor, to Heath Slater. Lesnar then nailed a second one, dropping Heath over the barrier that surrounds the Bullpen. Paul Heyman rushed out to call off Brock. The crowd actually cheered for Brock to continue.
Heyman and Lesnar got in the ring. Heyman said Brock was ready for a fight…against Triple H. Heyman did give HHH credit for knocking out Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Heyman said he has a new respect for HHH, after the Wrestlemania battle. Heyman said HHH vs Lesnar was sitting at 1-1. Heyman wanted to settle the score. Heyman and Brock wanted a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules.
Antonio Cesaro vs Kofi Kingston
United States Title Match
Antonio came out yodeling. Oh, please! Someone smack him for that annoying crap. Go Behind Roll Up to start the match. He only got two. Side Headlock by Kofi. Shoulder Tackle by Antonio. Backslide by Kofi. Whip but Kofi missed the Corner Splash. Clothesline by Antonio. Gut Wrench Throw by Antonio. Side Headlock by Antonio. Kofi with Controlled Frenzy into the Boom Drop. Kofi set for Trouble in Paradise but missed. European Uppercut off a Lift Drop by Antonio. 1-2-no. Break time.
Antonio drove his boot into Kofi’s face. Clothesline by Cesaro. Cesaro with insulting moves but Kofi tried to fight back. Cesaro blocked the SOS and brutalized the challenger. Corner Punches by Cesaro. Whip by Cesaro. SOS!. The Ole! Chant started, again. I love the Bouncing Souls. Back Elbow by Cesaro. Trouble In Paradise sent Cesaro out to the floor. Kofi went out to force Cesaro back into the ring. 2 count when they got back in. Kofi crawled up the ropes. Cesaro caught him and turned it into a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker for two plus. That was just awesome. Pendulum Kick by Kofi. Kofi got caught on the Springboard move. Kofi and Cesaro went for several pin attempts. Trouble in Paradise!

The new Mick Foley DVD hits the streets on Tuesday. I might eventually find a spot for it on my video shelves. I just picked up copies of Wrestlemania 4 and 23. Wal-Mart had a whole section of WWE stuff at discounted prices. Some still do. I’m going to spend my day off reorganizing all my videos. May take more than one day, I’m thinking.
Cole brought up Dolph Ziggler cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. They sent it to a video replay of Dolph winning the World Title.
Dolph Ziggler came out to “Show Off”. A.J. Lee and Big E Langston were at his side. Dolph now has a new cool leather vest. Dolph took the stick and drank in the jeers from the crowd. Dolph was happy that he cashed in and created the single best moment in Raw history. Dolph said it was all about him. Dolph really tooted his own horn about how great he (thinks he) is. Dolph explained what “Showing Off” was all about. Lawler wondered why Dolph was so angry. Dolph played a little tonsil hockey with A.J. Lee. Dolph said no one would be as good…
Enter Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez. The former champ and his ring announcer got in the ring. Del Rio said he wanted his rematch, right now. Dolph refused him. Vickie Guerrero stopped them both. Vickie said he would get his rematch…immediately.

World Title Match
Before the match could start, Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter came out. Zeb said Jack set it up for Dolph to be able to win. Zeb said Jack destroyed Alberto prior to Dolph winning. Del Rio attacked Jack with a La Bandera Clothesline. Big E got up in Alberto’s face. Jack attacked Del Rio and slammed the bad leg into the ring post, several times. Clothesline into the Patriot Lock. Del Rio’s knee was trashed.

Raw looked at how Team Hell No rushed down to help The Undertaker. The Shield took off running. Next week, The Shield will face Kane, Daniel Bryan…and Undertaker!
Titus with Kneelift to Daniel. Daniel with Crescent Kicks to the chest of Titus. Slider Dropkick by Daniel. Tag to Young. Clothesline by Young. European Uppercut by Young and tag to Titus. Stomps by Titus and the Woofing. Daniel started throwing wild Forearms. Fallaway Slam by Titus. Tag to Darren. Titus with the Front Drop Suplex to land Young onto Daniel. Rear Chin Lock by Young. Daniel punched out and nailed the Flying Clothesline.

Raw looked at Ryback’s attack on Cena. Ryback then came on the screen. He talked about how Cena beat Rock while he lost to Mark Henry. Ryback said it was time for him to go up and for Cena to go down. Ryback sent it back to the footage of his attack. Ryback understood that Cena wanted to know why. Ryback said he really didn’t have a choice. He could not be at the bottom. Ryback acknowledged that Cena did help him out, early on. Cena did offer Ryback a seat at the table. Ryback wasn’t happy living in Cena’s shadow. He would not be a sidekick. He thought of himself as the Kryptonite to Cena’s Superman. Ryback wanted to know where Cena was when he was getting ripped off for the World title. Ryback complained about being attacked, six times, by The Shield with no help coming from Cena. Ryback said he always came to Cena’s aid. Ryback said Cena got lucky at the Royal Rumble and then left him alone at Elimination Chamber. Ryback watched Cena, last week, and waited for some acknowledgement from Cena. When it didn’t happen, Ryback attacked. Ryback said he was the biggest threat to Cena’s WWE Title reign. Ryback Rules!

Wade Barrett vs R-Truth
Side Headlock by Truth. Go Behind by Truth but Wade got free and punched away. Truth danced and hit a Leg Lariat. Wade with a cheap shot as the ref pulled Truth back. Wade sat Truth on the top rope and punched away. Running Kick by Wade. 2 count. Seated Abdominal Stretch by Wade. Truth punched loose and bounced off the ropes. Crucifix Backslide by Truth. 1-2-no. Wade with a Boot to the face. Truth with the Front Drop Suplex, for two. Wade dodged the Ax Kick. Back Kick by Wade. Pump Handle was blocked and Truth with Facing the Truth for the three.

Great Khali (w/ Hornswoggle and Natalya) and Santino Marella vs Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes)
Sandow told the crowd to be silent. He quoted poetry about dwarves and giants. Snadow took a shot at the residents of South Carolina. Sandow dodged Khali. Khali threw Sandow into the corner and hit an Open Hand Slap. Cody tagged in. Cody wanted to fight Santino. He got his wish. Santino with some karate moves but Cody popped him. Santino went for a Float Over but Cody just stood back and blasted the Italian. Sandow tagged back in and punched away. Tag to Cody. Cody choked Santino on the bottom rope. Tag to Sandow. Double Snap Mare by Team Rhodes Shcolar. Elbow of Distain by Sandow. 1-2-no
The two fought back and forth. Santio avoided the Scoop Slam and hit the Splitz and Hip Toss. Cobra! Cody made the save. Hornswoggle with a Mini-Cobra. Khali laid out Cody. School Boy by Sandow, with a handful of tights for the win.

Jerry Lawler was in the ring. He talked about how Fandango was the first person to make a successful debut at Wrestlemania. Lawler sent it the crowd singing Fandango’s theme, last week. Fandango has even moved to main stream media. His theme music is becoming almost as possible as Psy’s little Gangham Style. Lawler brought out Fandango. He danced his way onto the stage. Fandango’s theme is the third most downloaded theme on I-Tunes. He danced down the ramp with his girl. The crowd started singing along with the jazzy little tune. Somewhere Herb Albert is like “I did that tune in the 70s”.
Lawler started to ask Fanny if he ever thought… He was cut off by Fanny. Fandango wanted Lawler to move his hips but Lawler decided to move his hips to the announce desk. Fandango was looking for someone to go Fandango-ing with him. Fanny asked the crowd to pronounce his name. The crowd started singing his music. He grinned at the crowd’s enthusiasm. Fanny decided not to keep partying with the crowd, because they couldn’t pronounce his name correctly.
In the back, John Cena was interviewed by Matt Striker. Cena said he knew Ryback had a problem with him. Cena said he would go to the ring, in bright yellow, so Ryback would have no problem finding him.
Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) vs Dolph Ziggler
Raw showed Jack’s attack on Alberto Del Rio, earlier on. If Swagger wins this, he becomes the Number One Contender. Dolph ducked and dodged Jack. Dolph went for the leg but Jack pushed Dolph into the corner. Dolph slapped the taste out of Jack’s mouth and then took off running. Dolph attacked Jack as they slid in the ring. Big Boot by Jack. Kneelifts by Jack. Short Arm Clothesline by Jack. Jack stomped the stomach and pulled on the leg. Jack brutalized the back of Dolph. Hammer Throw by Jack but Dolph with a Funk Neckbreaker. Jack went for the Patriot Lock but Dolph was in the ropes. Uppercut by Dolph. Jack dropped Dolph, crotch first, over the ropes. A Clothesline sent Dolph to the arena floor.
Jack was doing his We The People schtick. Dolph threw Jack into the ring post. Small Package by Dolph for two. Close Quarters Belly to Belly Suplex by Jack. Jack with an Irish Whip into the Kitchen Sink. Swagger Bomb attempt found Jack getting a face full of boots from Dolph. Dolph with punches and kicks. Wicked Dropkick by Dolph. High Plant DDT by Dolph, for only a two. Jack blocked the Zig Zag and dropped Dolph over the top rope. Jack with a simple Roll Up.

After the match, Del Rio limped out and attacked Swagger. Superkick sent Swagger flying off the stage. . Cross Armbreaker across the edge of the stage! Swagger screeched in agony. The shoulder may well be dislocated.
C.M. Punk walked backstage. He was ready to finally break his silence.
Matt Striker talked with Sheamus. Well, they stared to but Mark Henry blindsided Sheamus. Sheamus clutched his back. The announcers were totally confused.
C.M. Punk came out with Paul Heyman. Punk had a seriously sad look on his face. Punk was limping, badly. The crowd chanted Punk’s name. Heyman gave words of encouragement to Punk. Punk took forever to say anything. Punk talked about his 400+ day reign. He said he couldn’t really enjoy it because he was having to watch over his shoulder. Punk showed respect to The Rock, who ended his title run. Punk said he wanted bigger than The Rock so he turned to The Undertaker and The Streak. Punk knew he pushed Taker to the limit. An “Under-Taker” sing song chant was mixed with a “C.M. Punk” chant. Punk hugged Heyman and gave him the microphone. Punk limped out of the ring to the shock of everyone. Punk didn’t even walk up the ramp. He just went around to the side exit. That was just odd.
Booker T told Teddy Long off for over-stepping his bounds. Booker warned Teddy not to try and anticipate Booker’s thoughts. Booker said Jack and Alberto would get their championship matches, in a Triple Threat.
Nikki Bella (w/Brie) vs Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn shoved Nikki down. Collar and Elbow and Kaitlyn pitched Nikki back. Another Collar and Elbow lead to an Arm Drag by Kaitlyn. Baseball Slide to take out both Bellas, who were chatting on the floor. Nikki swept the leg, on the apron. Kaitlyn hit the arena floor. Nikki then threw Kaitlyn into the ring apron. Nikki twisted Kaitlyn in the ropes. Brie with a cheap shot. 2 count. Nikki threw Nikki down and then stood on the hair while pulling on the arms. 2 count. Nikki pulled back on Kaitlyn’s neck while planting the knee n the lower back. Nikki threw Kaitlyn down hard. 2 count, again. Please finish this, it painful to watch. How far has the Divas/Women’s division fallen? Natalya, the only Diva with any real talent, is serving as the valet to Great Khali? Jeez. Kaitlyn with a Clothesline and Back Elbow. Shoulder Tackle by Kaitlyn. Nikki with a Dropkick to the knee. Kaitlyn lifted Nikki for the Over the Top Gutbuster. Brie slid in for Twin Magic. Brie pinned Kaitlyn.

Remember, next week, Undertaker, Kane and Daniel Bryan will battle Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns (The Shield). The announcers talked about Sheamus’ problem with Mark Henry. They showed the video of the attack. On Smackdown, Randy Orton and Sheamus will battle Mark Henry and Big Show.
John Cena’s music rang out and the WWE Champ made his way from the back. Yep, he was wearing that God-awful yellow t-shirt. So many yellow shirts, right now. I absolutely hate the color yellow. The video feed was a bit distorted thanks to a wonderful April snow storm out here in Nevada.
Cena called out Ryback. Ryback stormed the ring and got in Cena’s face. The crowd picked up the “Feed Me More” chant. Cena knew Ryback can hurt people. Cena wasn’t scared of Ryback. The Shield were watching from the back. Cena said he has an Open Challenge to anyone who thought they were man enough to come down and face him. Cena then said Ryback waited until Cena’s back was turned before attacking. The crowd were very bored with this whole segment. Cena said Ryback is full of excuses. Cena wondered if Ryback knew who he was messing with. Cena said he didn’t like the way Ryback conducted business, last week. Cena said Ryback didn’t have the brains or the b*lls to be champion. JBL commented on seeing The Shield lurking around. Cena was ready to fight. He took off he hat, dog tags and shirt. Cena told Ryback to make a move. The two stared at each other for an extended period of time. Ryback stepped out of the ring and walked up the ramp. Suddenly, The Shield’s music went off. The trio came through the crowd. Ryback waited to see what The Shield was going to do. Dean, Seth and Roman oozed over the barricade. They weren’t sure what Ryback was going to do. The Shield attacked Cena, who fought back valiantly. Ryback just stood and watched the carnage. Cena kept fighting but he was getting seriously mugged. Ryback just walked off. So, Ryback gets a heel turn. Sword of Justice Triple Powerbomb. “One More Time” rang out from the rowdy crowd. Ryback strolled all the way to the back as everyone look stunned.
