THE CM PUNK INJURY SITUATION & NEW PLANS FOR THE TLC PPV
WWE reported that CM Punk underwent successful surgery today on his left knee. The procedure was to remove a section of torn meniscus that locked up Punk’s knee. Surgery was performed by the famed Dr.James Andrews.
WWE.com has confirmed that Dr. Andrews completed a scope of CM Punk’s left knee. Andrews successfully trimmed a cartilage tear in Punk’s knee.
At this point we have been informed that Punk had planned to wrestle at the TLC Pay-Per-View but the WWE is changing the main event to Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Ryback against The Shield.
