VETERAN “JOLTIN’” JOE BLANCHARD (FATHER OF TULLY) HAS DIED

I just received confirmation that Joe Blanchard has died. I spoke with Tully a few moments ago to send my condolences.

Joe Blanchard was a “man’s man” and one of the nicest people I ever knew. The world is less one wonderful human being.

It is so unfortunate that he did not get to see his son inducted into the Hall Of Fame (as he will be as part of the Four Horsemen group) the night prior to WrestleMania in Miami. Both father and son had an excellent relationship and admired each other so very much.

Here is Tully’s Facebook post just a few hours ago …

“‎3-22-2012 marks the end of my Fathers life in the natural. He passed at 8:00 AM, Joe Blanchard stepped into Eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus!”
