Posted October 5th, 2011 by 1Wrestling News Team

We are just days away from the Hulk and Friends show coming to the Allentown Fairgrounds in Allentown, PA on Saturday October 8th, and as part of the VOC Wrestling Nation’s continuing coverage of that event, we will talk to the man himself: HULK HOGAN will join the VOC Nation this Wednesday at 5PM. In addition to the Hulkster, we’ll also recap WWE and IMPACT programming, preview IMPACT’S Bound for Glory, and take your phone calls toll free at 855-VOC-WNJC (855-862-9652).
The VOC Wrestling Nation airs LIVE every Wednesday at 5PM ET on 1360 WNJC in Philadelphia and WORLDWIDE on vocnation.com. The VOC Wrestling Nation began broadcasting on WNJC in September of 2010 under the name of “Ringside Radio.” The show quickly gained popularity eclipsing 20,000 weekly listeners on Saturday mornings and was moved to the drive time slot on Wednesday afternoons by WNJC Philadelphia. Over 110,000 listeners tune in via radio, Internet, and Podcast to the show every week to hear the most dynamic personalities on the airwaves.
“The Voice of Choice” Bruce Wirt heads a “WORLDWIDE” ship alongside longtime friend Nemar Wells and pro wrestling lifer Albert AC Smooth. The show also features weekly insight from 1wrestling.com’s Bill Apter and Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Brady Hicks, who also runs his thebradyhicks.com wrestling site. In August 2011, Jimmy Hart became the latest member of the pack, continuing the evolution of the radio program into an international brand. The show has featured legendary guests such as Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart, Jake “the Snake” Roberts, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Kamala, Road Dogg Jesse James, Xpac Sean Waltman, Scott Hall, the Insane Clown Posse, and so many more.
The VOC Nation mother ship is vocnation.com, which is not only home to the VOC Wrestling Nation, but also other daily shows such as The Suplah (the UK’s hottest wrestling podcast), Honkytonk Man Radio, Arenachicks Radio, and our weekly reach into the past with “Respect Thy Wrestling Forefathers” on Saturday mornings.
Aside from broadcasting on Philadelphia’s most dynamic talk station WNJC and vocnation.com, the VOC Nation added podcast archives of the show in February 2011 via Podomatic, and just recently struck a deal with blogtalkradio to produce live remote broadcasts. The Fox and Hound Restaurant in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania is the place┬áthe live VOC Nation coverage of all WWE PPVs, which can be heard via our blogtalkradio.com partnership, takes place.
The evolution of the VOC Nation brand has led to bookings as the guest announce team for Independent wrestling shows, live coverage of sports and wrestling autograph and collectable shows, talent bookings and talent management, private and public party hosting (with Karaoke or Green Screen videos), and just recently, our roving fan fest where we give fans the ability to participate in a 90 second video with a legendary athlete or performer with full production capabilities.
Be sure to tune in this Wednesday for Hulk Hogan, but expect to come back over and over again for daily entertainment unmatched anywhere in the world. Last week we added video to our archived podcasts of the show, giving fans an up close and personal invitation into the WNJC Philadelphia studio.

The numbers don’t lie, over 110,000 people continue to follow the most unique product in entertainment. The VOC Nation has been featured on USA Today.com, Fox Sports.com, 1wrestling.com, and countless other media hubs. Listen, laugh, and learn from the VOC Nation each week. We’ll see you on the radio!
