PERRY SATURN TO MAKE HIS FIRST PPV APPEARANCE SINCE RESURFACING

Former WCW World TV Champ and former WWE European Champ Perry Saturn wil make his in-ring return to professional wrestling at the AWE Awesome Night of the Legends pay-per-view.

Saturn has been out of wrestling since being sidelined by a 2002 ACL injury. He had a brief but significant run at the top of the mat game that included stints in ECW, WCW and WWE. He is perhaps best remembered for his jump from WCW to WWE in 2000 with Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko as The Radicalz.

“Perry Saturn has also had his share of personal problems,” notes Bill Apter from 1Wrestling.com. “He dropped out of sight for a few years as his life had taken a huge turn for the worse. His toughest opponent — addiction to drugs – was waging a war that he thought he would lose.”\

That period of time nearly drained all his strength but Perry Saturn came out of the depths of darkness and won that titanic battle.

“It actually made me stronger. I won’t let anything hold me down like that again,” Saturn told AWE Promoter Marvin Ward. “My sole focus now is making a full, successful comeback and what a way to kick that off, on a worldwide AWE Pay-Per-View. This is do-or-die. I don’t care who they put in the ring against me, I want to go on record and say I will not be stopped. You better tell my opponent to come ready for a damn fight!”

The Night of the Legends pay-per-view is set for Saturday, Oct. 15. Night of the Legends will be available to viewers in the United States and Canada via InDemand, DirecTV, AGTV and Bell TV and worldwide at AWEonPPV.com.
