Before the match, Pope grabbed the mic and said he respects D-Von and said that he respects him and his kids. Pope then said he would show D-Von how much he respects him and layed down in the ring to give him the 7 points. D-Von then said he wants the points by beating him. At the 8:24 mark, The Pope pinned D-Von and gained 7 points in the Bound for Glory series. After the match, Pope offered D-Von a handshake and D-Von declined.
