Each week’s resident rankings expert, Ray Mullan, will be scouting the major North American wrestling promotions in order to bring you an in-depth rankings report for the top championships in Pro Wrestling.

The Top 10 rankings are based on television and Pay-Per View win-loss records over the course of the month, quality of opposition, and inherent skill of each wrestler or team. All other rankings are based on the official current positions of challengers to the Top Title in each category (I.E. Should a wrestler win a number 1 contenders match, he will automatically be afforded that ranking regardless of current win-loss record).

Ray’s ‘Rasslin’ Rankings – As of July 6th 2011:

That’s all for this week folks, I hope you like the new look rankings reports, you will notice the odd missing photo here and there as with copyright laws I’m limited to photos from the personal collections of myself and my good friends Simon Quinton and Stephen Tovey. However if you have a photo of a wrestler that’s missing and you’d like to see your work featured here on please drop me a line, full credit will be given in my reports.

As always, if you have any comments or questions pertaining to the rankings, feel free to drop me a line at or alternatively you can tweet me via @TNAUKWRESTLING. Thanks for reading, see you next week!

Awesome, 5 star column, love the new look to the rankings Ray. Del Rio and Punk should share the number 1 spot on Raw, I think punk will win at mitb but mcmahon will have Orton beat him right after unifying the belts and ending the brand split.

Love the new look! Really enjoying these weekly ‘Rasslin’ rankings, i get kind of nostalgic as it reminds me of the Apter Mags back in the day.

Think i might have a couple of photos from House Shows I’ve attended, I’ll dig them out and mail you the links and you can let me know if their of any use to you.

Gunner should be number 1 contender, he’s beaten AJ Styles (twice), Sting and the World Champion Mr. Anderson, he’s more than done enough to earn a shot.
