It’s all clear to me now. None of this information has been told to me by any official source, but it all makes sense – at least I think it does.

Here are two facts:
1) The Rock has returned.
2) Vince McMahon wants to finally start to spend money and vigorously pursue his dream of a WWE branded Entertainment Television station.

Does this make sense to you as well? With The Rock Vince now has someone to “put him over” to the entire Hollywood fraternity. Rock has endeared himself to so many movie, TV, and media stars and the business community as well. (look at all the Hollywood stars that cut promos for his birthday). His endorsement of Vince McMahon – who needs programming for his new venture – will come a lot easier with the right connections – and that is what Rock brings to the table.

It is well known that Rock is truly grateful to Vince McMahon for giving him the opportunity to become a Sports Entertainment mega-star. Now, perhaps it’s Rock’s turn to return the favor.

What do you think?

He has the support of the B-List (at best) of the entertainment industry, although that could change now that FAST FIVE will probably shoot his stock up to unforseen levels.

I want this WWE Network to happen, just to see if it will be the first non-wrestling venture Vince does that doesn’t blow up in his face.

I agree with you Bill that it could happen. I’m just worried how much of a commitment would Rock have to make in order for this to happen. And I mean that on both ends with wrestling and Hollywood.
