NWA-East presents Burgh Brawl 15 on Friday, April 29th at The Jacob Woll Pavillion (4112 Sycamore Drive, McKeesport, PA 15132). Belltime 7:30pm

Huge Double Main Event:

Burgh Brawl 15: The largest rumble-style battle royal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is entering it’s fifteenth edition as 30 NWA-East stars will compete to be the final man standing and receive a NWA-East Heavyweight Title shot at the next live event. In addition, any wrestler who eliminates a current champion will receive a shot at that champions title at the next live event.

NWA-East Heavyweight Title Match:
Chris Taylor defends against Ryan Mitchell
Former best friends turned bitter enemies will do battle for the first time ever with the NWA-East Heavyweight Title on the line. Ryan Mitchell turned his back on Chris Taylor and the NWA-East fans when he nailed Taylor with a steel chair in the shot heard around the NWA-East. For months, these two men have fought a war against one another and now the time has come to put up or shut up!

NWA-East Three Rivers Title Match:
Devin Devine v Travis Fame v Ryan Reign
The Finals of the NWA-East Three Rivers Title Tournament will feature a three way dance with the 1o year veteran Devin Devine squaring off against two young lions in Ryan Reign and Travis Fame. Fame is loved by the fans and has really come into his own in recent months while Reign is a hated villain that is coming fresh out of a successful tag-team stint and is now looking to have a successful singles career in the NWA-East. Devin Devine has held every title the NWA-East has to offer and is the odds on favorite here in the finals.

NWA-East Brass Knuckles Contenders Championship Series Match:
Rpbert Parker Williams v Mad Mike v Jon Burton v Chris LeRusso
This is the beginning of a unique way for the NWA-East Brass Knuckles Contenders Championship to be won and lost as the current champion Robert Parker Williams and former champions Mad MIke, Chris LeRusso, and Jon Burton will all face one another for the next several months in a series of matches in which the last man left standing will be the champion. The first match will see a fatal fourway between the four competitors as the loser will suffer his first elimination defeat in a double elimination series.

NWA-East Tag-Team NON Title Match:
Champions The Uprising meets former champions Excellence Personified
In order to receive a shot at the NWA-East Tag-Team Titles, a team must accumulate the neccessary points to cash in for the title shot. Points are awarded for wins and a win against the current champions in a non-title match is worth the most points. Current champions The Uprising will seek to hold off the challenge of former champions Excellence Personified as Personified needs just this win in a non-title match to get that well earned title shot.

Ten-Man Tag-Team Elimination Match:
The 216 Clique v Team NWA-East
The 216 Clique, comprised of Lou Marconi, Frank Stalletto, Dan Arkham, Will Esquire, and Shane Taylor, has turned the NWA-East upside down with their Cleveland invasion of hated Pittsburgh. They have attacked everyone and everything in the NWA-East and now the NWA-East has put together a team to stand up to the renegade group. Crusher and Tony Hansen, Big Poppa Gator, The Beast, and a mystery partner will be the team to take on the unwanted Clevelanders The 216 Clique in what is sure to be total mayhem!

Troy Lords v Ashton Amherst
Troy Lords spent months competing in a roud robin tournament to become the eventual winner of a briefcase full of contracts good for a shot at every title in the NWA-East. Upon winning the finals match and being handed the briefcase of contracts, NWA North American Tag-Team Champion Ashton Amherst attacked Lords from behind and stole the contracts stating that he is the one who deserves these contracts and he is the one who can actually win a title with them. Lords now wants revenge and his contracts back and will get his first chance to meet Amherst face to face.

JR Mega v Calvin McGrath
The last match added to this card has quickly become the most personal as the other NWA North American Tag-Team Champion JR Mega has gone to video to berate and verbally bash WWE signee Calvin McGrath. Mega has called out McGrath on several personal issues and has made them public in an attempt to further his name at the expense of McGrath’s success in landing a WWE contract. This is to be McGrath’s last match in the NWA-East before leaving for Florida and Mega is well aware of how big a victory against the big man could be. McGrath has not been silent in this affair as he has simply promised to ‘pop Mega’s head off of his neck’.
