Remembering Sir Oliver Humperdink! Fidel Sierra and Fantasy

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends and fans of Sir Oliver Humperdink and were deeply saddened to hear about his passing.

I have known him for a very long time, all the way back to the Florida Championship Wrestling Days and considered him a good friend.

We took many a road trips together and I have a lot of good memories of him, we both do. He was a great person and a legend in his own right and he will be sorely missed.

It hurts me to say that I did not get the opportunity to speak with Hump recently but I just got of the phone with another friend of mine, Kevin “the Devil’ Sullivan, who did. He told me that he took a little trip down memory lane with Hump less than a week ago and that Hump told him that those road trips were special to him and the time of our lives. I would have to agree with him.

This brings me to a very important point. Take the time to tell your family how much you love them, hug the people you care about and stay in touch with your friends because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

So we would like to ask everyone, as a tribute to another one of our fallen brothers, to take a moment and remember this very special man. I know that we will. Hump, we love you, may you rest in peace.

I will always remember Hump whos real name was John Sutton. He was a great addition to the NWA, Jim Crockett promotion in the 80′s. I had many great memories on off camera. I will miss him. REST IN PEACE OLE RED. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
