Nathan Starling and Scott Fishman recently conducted interviews with former NXT season 3 rookie Isis the Amazon (Aloisia), Ring of Honor owner Cary Silkin and Card Subject to Change’s Tim Disbrow for Ringside Radio, available at www.ringsideradio.com.
The 6-foot-8 Aloisia discussed how she broke into the business in South Florida, her entrance and controversial exit from WWE, a possible reality show and what’s next in her wrestling career.
Silkin talked about this weekend’s events in Philadelphia and seminar on Sunday, possibility of a women’s division, the innovative Trial Series concept, ROH opening up on Comcast and upcoming events, including WrestleMania weekend in Atlanta. He also responded to the critics out there calling ROH a glorified developmental territory for WWE and TNA.
Disbrow provided insight on what went on in producing the documentary, his time spent with Trent Acid and Sherri Martel, sifting through 250 hours of footage over four years to make the movie, potential distribution deals for the film and more.
Ringside Radio debuts on Blog Talk Radio 8 p.m. next Wednesday with special guests headlined by Hall of Famer Terry Funk, who recently broke news that he was coming out of retirement in January at WrestleReunion. Also joining the show, Tugboat, JJ Dillon and Al Snow. Visit www.blogtalkradio.com/ringsideradio on Oct. 6.
