I’ve been reading the site since 1997 and finally its about time!!!!

The other site was simple, and WOULD LOAD onto my cell phone. Now when I try to open with cell phone, it takes far longer and says page is too large.

Don’t particularly like it on my computer either.

Okay, I see the desire (not the need) for a change, but I don’t think it needed to be so drastic.

Guess I’ll look around, and consider another source to get my wrestling fix.

I think I’ll definitely be able to get used to this. Nice work so far, and I can’t tell you how happy it makes me that you finally have an RSS feed. I think every site should have one, makes it so much easier to keep up with the latest goings on.

I have been reading this site for many many years. I have to tell you, as annoying as the ads were, this site is not an upgrade. It takes forever to load, even on my 100MB network. Yes, I did say 100MB network. we are an ISP and have the fastest everything here, and I cant get through the page with out it ker-chinking along. And forget about loading it on my phone, and that is an EVO!
The site should load a lot more clean, and fast. But there is a lot of clutter. I applaud the efforts, but for a news site, it is not necessary to be so bogged down. Your developer needs to understand the industry in which he is targeting, and doing the work for. Incorporating video is tricky. You have to have enough bandwidth to serve the site properly.

I hope he fixes it soon, i love the work you do, just not a fan of the new site.

Zac – Thanks for your comments. We are working through some issues related to the redesign and hope to have things moving faster next week. I’ll relay your comments to our web developer and hopefully you’ll see a difference soon.

Another suggestion. It would be nice if there was a way to be notified of new comments via email or RSS, preferably both. It would be a nice way to keep conversations going on posts and would keep people from having to click each post they’ve commented on over and over again to see if anybody else has said anything. Many sites do this, usually via a small checkbox that says something like be notified of new comments in this thread or somesuch.
