WAS THE DANIEL BRYAN “FIRING” JUST AN ANGLE?

Let me start off by saying that Bryan Danielson is not only a consummate professional but he is one of the nicest guys in the business.

I’ve gotten dozens of emails asking me if I think that the whole situation with Danielson (in his Daniel Bryan WWE persona) was just a “work” and it was supposed to be part of a grand picture (last night’s return at SummerSlam).

This is strictly my opinion. I think that the initial “firing” may have had merit but with an asterik. That meaning they planned to bring him back at the right time and last night was just that.

During his time out of the WWE I saw him at an Independent card at the NWA Legends Fan Fest in Charlotte, North Carolina. I did ask him if he was going to return to the WWE and he told me he was still under contract and could not comment. He also declined to have posed photos taken due to the same reason.

Do I think that this was an “angle” from the start — I’ll go out on a limb and say “yes” as last night was just too perfect to be thought of just a short time before SummerSlam in my opinion. He was on the Indy scene for just enough time to lead to SummerSlam and this “mystery man” WWE team partner.

Below is a poll. Please let me know what you think and leave a comment.
