Opening Segment and Match #1
The show opened with a cryptic “There is a Change coming…” video opening. It sounded like something out of a cheesy 80s sci-fi movie.
Welcome to the 23rd annual Summerslam, live from L.A., California. Michael Cole welcomed the fans to the show, along with Jerry “The King” Lawler and Matt Striker.

Your Winner: No COntest
Grade: C (horrible finish)
nexus surrounded the Nexus. Kofi tried to fight but got swarmed by the 7 rogues. If the whole show is going to be like this, fans are going to be really irate. Nexus just destroyed the Piranha from Ghana.
Wade Barrett took the stick and said this was just a taste of what would happen to Team WWE. Wade said the Raw roster was too fragmented to be a cohesive unit. Wade said Nexus was the most destructive force in the history of the WWE because they were united behind a common purpose. He pulled out the catch phrase and then they left the ring.
