WEBSTER’S WEEKLY — NWA ON FIRE

Posted June 21st, 2010 by admin

Questions. We have many of them after this past weekend’s jaw-dropping events in Mexico and Phippsburg Maine. All I can say is stay tuned to NWA On Fire TV to get the scoop as we try and sort things out as the dust clears. What a wild weekend in the Pine Tree State.

If I were Bad Boy Jason and Darling Damon, I’d be paying particular attention to the former tag team champs, Makua and Fala. The Samoan Warriors do have a rematch clause in their contract that they may cash in at any time. From my view, it appears the BBB and DD have written off the former champs as formidable challengers. A mistake that may prove costly.

If Julian Starr is not a champion within the next year, I will eat my red and white polka-dot tie. He’s got the skills, the training, the look, the determination, and the support of the fans. All the ingredients necessary to hold some kind of gold here in NWA On Fire.

Some have asked if the Giant Pharoah has lost his killer instinct since “crossing over” to the “good side” several weeks ago. Take a look at the 7 foot Egyptian God-King’s matches and the devastation that follows. Then, ask again if you think he’s lost his edge.

The buzz around NWA On Fire is that Chico, a former tag team champ is looking for a new partner to re-join the ranks of the tag team division. Is it possible a “new” Latin Hit Squad could be tearing up rings…and opponents…sometime soon?

Yours truly had a great chat recently with the legendary Robbie Ellis. The former ICW Junior Heavyweight Champion and I reminisced about the “good old days” of the ICW and the junior title in particular. Perhaps it’s time to give some serious consideration to bringing that title back to NWA On Fire.

Last week it was reported that SOA is serving a suspension for his vicious attack on Senior Official, Chuck Morris. Rumor has it SOA may never return to NWA On Fire. From where I sit, I highly doubt that to be true. SOA will somehow, some way find his way back to what he likes doing best: destroying everything, and everyone in sight.
